Pub Crawl Week 1 Rounds 3 and 4 Art Vandelay Well, couldn't help myself and had to play the final 2 rounds. After what will be another missed cut in Platinum I needed something good to happen. 3rd round a lot better. Finally got past Nate On3PmpWond3r. Great playing by the way mate. Round 4 Matchplay against Pen Pen Knight pretty good again, but a silly 3 putt bogey spoilt the round. Hopefully it doesn't cost me 🤞. Anyway as the great man says, Onwards and as I say AsYouBrew 4ever 🍻😉.   |

Season 7000 Inaugural OFTR and CC Event Art VandelayOFTR   This was my 1'st round of golf in a couple weeks outside rangering a course for the Crew. Very rusty and out of sorts with this game. Have totally forgotten how to swing.  Don't have it in me to do all 4 rounds like I would normally do. Have some aliens to shoot and need to kill this pirate leader guy. Wasn't until the back 9 of round 2 that I began to get some feel back for how to swing. Funny to watch my progression in readjusting to the swing. 1'ST to get back was my putting, which saved my ass from major blowup scores. Then my drives started to find the tempo window again. Then came approach shots where I started to actually land on the green and even land a few close for easy tap in birdies. Ok, I'm out. I'm coming to kill you Delgado. Hope your scared. |

A fabulous performance by Team Europe!
Just a couple of points.
Given that there was talk about Europe winning without it even going into Sunday -- or at least posting a record-breaking win -- what a performance by the US team to get it exciting! There was a point in the afternoon where it was tricky to see where the half point was going to come from. What a fight from the American team.
I also wanted to echo something that Paul Azinger said this morning, and this applies to both sides. Seve, quite rightly, is regarded as the epitome of the battle that is the Ryder Cup. He battled like a lion and fought with all his heart -- and he's my all-time favourite golfer, for what it's worth -- but what he didn't do was go mental at every putt that went down, every chip or pitch that went stiff. There's a lot that can be said about his competitive spirit, but he wasn't the one to scream and fist-pump like a lunatic.
I cba commenting about the Cava incident or the crowd input -- although I have to say the European crowd wasn't as polite as it has been in the past -- but Europe were phenomenal. I've never seen so many putts holed, and that counts for both sides.
What a tournament!

Agreed with everything there. Great win for Europe especially after the annihilation two years ago. Great performance to bounce back from that and hold our nerve when the Americans fought back strong today, and kudos to them for that! They made a game of it. I hate the first pumping too. I don't mind it when it matters but on Friday they were doing it already. It strikes me as incredibly insincere, forced and showy. Does my head in. Maybe we're just old men yelling at clouds though  Most importantly, ole ole ole ole! Was a great watch today |

Two great battles with Ross this morning. Enjoyed that CC course.
Went -51 in Elite as well (another fun course) and -34 in True Sim Tour.
That's enough golf for today 🤣 gotta mow the grass before the sun goes. Play well guys!
