Art VandelayOFTR and I just loved this course, felt like my new home. Wish I could have scored better. Onward Raiders! Cool. That one is one of my picks and setups. Glad to see someone likes my choice. Those who are not happy with the setup or course. asyoudo64 picked it and set it up. Update for my fans. No CC for me today. Just don't feel like it. MAY do One for the Road with a warmup on the knocked up course.

One for the Road Art VandelayCC Art VandelayWasn't going to play my CC rounds today but then kind of got into the game, having some fun so decided to play round 1, was enjoying myself *this is a fun course to play with the short par 4's and reachable 5's* So decided to play round 2. Was planning on quitting there but just couldn't stop myself. Decided to finish it off. High winds a couple rounds, 186's for a round. Setups were nice (hope none of this sounds too positive. Nothing to report back lol) Only gripes are 1 You can't make cuts or win tournaments 3 putting for par on par 5 or the short par 4's. Which I did multiple times throughout my 4 rounds 2 Round 3. Make eagle, only to give it back with a double bogey on the next hole. So that's it for golf for the week. Other than maybe a few rounds here and there and some Soylent action when I decide what to setup. Will do in the am.

OFTR (One F'ing Terrible Round) - week 4, early editionTitle speaks for itself. Not good enough to my standard. Why is it this round every week where I can't score well at all? Art Vandelay

Pub Crawl pfffffftArt Vandelay Gosh, where's the cat? Thought my 1st round sucked. Too frustrating, made 2 eagles in a -5 round, tempo has just gone to absolute crap, i miss my old worn out xbox controller. And when i did hit the stupid green for a change the putts would just slip by and slip by and slip by. Jesus, what a sh%$ show. Eagled a par 3 by sheer damn luck in the last round, happy bounce, i guess. Gawd, wasted all that luck for nothing, will probably now take 2 months before i score a -10 again.

One for the Road @ Look what the cat dragged inArt Vandelay I called Wobbles - one of our 2 cats - from her slumber under table in the lounge. She ambled over happily, hopped onto her favourate leg, this time she sat facing me sniffing my fingers and rubbing her cheek against my hands and against that stupid controller. Swinging was a bit awkward to be honest, poor cat got a few soft bops on the nose from time to time but she did not seem to mind. After all, spending quality time with mr cool cat is precious i suppose. I was flavour of the evening, king of my castle, until, well Sundays is tuna night for the cats and on the 9th green my daughter peeled the tuna tin open. That cat rocketed so fast off my lap i almost 3 putted in the process. Fortunately, the magic and cat hairs did not wear off immediately. Almost did get onto a 3 hole par train towards the end, lucky chip in on the last saved the birdie. I have no idea why my tempo suddenly felt good all of a sudden. Have no idea why the putts rolled like i read them to roll. Maybe i just focused or concentrated a bit harder because of the awkward sitting arrangement, dunno. Fun course, fun round, enjoyed that. I also enjoyed the CC course today, but ya, not going to say so in all fairness.

Week 4 Round 1 against the fair lady Carol @inflames, with four head to heads with the Boisterous Boston Bombshell. But first, a hearty Bad Golfer welcome to our latest victimā¦erā¦member, Marcus cobrachicken. Not only do we have four Mar(c)ks on hand, we also have one of these: Jesus take the wheel. Anyway, taking on a course that, merely a week after the course complaints controversy, features some suspect qualities, such as blind shots, including one off the tee, and almost no color differential between fairways and rough, and greens and fringe, points made in a very prominent stream available to the general public. But enough about that - closing the door on my rant. Another round where practice was lights out, but the actual product was another matter entirely. Never have I ever thought Iād feel like I underperformed in a round where I carded 2 eagles. Alas, Art Vandelay. This week feels like it could be feast or famine. Rd 1: -7 Side note: I really dig the designers use of identical total distances for each tee set. Makes for a lot of eagle ops, Iām guessing. Heh hehā¦ Eagle Opsā¦

Most so far seem to be enjoying the course despite the issues you mention. Because weāre not fussed about the odd deviation. The Elite course this week had patches of heavy rough in the middle of the fairways. No biggie unless you landed in it!! š¤£

There is literally no fringe on this courseā¦ Is hilarious. Keep it up Brew Crew! Iām loving it!

Find what youāre looking for? Doyley - call off the goon squad. To a man (and woman), our group appreciates what your team does more than most around here, and if we need to vent a little bit about layouts and appearances, we shouldnāt have to expect a dressing down by folks who arenāt even part of our society. We are grateful for the work of the Admins. We have our own admin group for our society and we hear it from them as well. Do we b%& about it? Nope. We privately sort things out and do our best to make things better. We donāt expect the TGCT admins to kowtow to our grousing. We do expect that āoutsidersā will stop invading our community to call us āwhinersā, ācomplainersā, etc. Honestly we donāt care what they think of us, but some of their behavior is beyond childish and it needs to stop now. Thanks for the ear, Chris. Terribly dreadful itās come to this, but we arenāt going to shut down. As for Tyson, if you find our little thread entertaining because of a little dissent, then I really feel sorry for you. How dreadfully dull life must be. Fin.
