Wooot, only frustrating game in my game library is that stupid golf game everyone seems to be playing ⛳️ Thanks Crazy Croc , after reading about SnowRunner I figured I would give it a go and downloaded it 2 days ago. 16.4 hours of playing later, I guess it is fun (ha ha).
I did make some rookie mistakes (like not upgrading my pickup truck until recently - much easier to drive with a good suspension and tires!) and it took me a while to learn you can drive on crazy looking grass much better than slogging through the mud tracks.
BTW, I really enjoy using my steering wheel. The force feedback gives you a real sense of immersion and the wheel has lots of buttons, so I only use my mouse on rare occasion. I found I could also connect my controller and use all three, but didn't see the advantage. Anyway, thanks for giving me a new huge time suck!
I guess I better fit in some golf tomorrow!
Time sink (into the snow). I have close to 500 hours played, only completed 2 of the 13 maps to 100% so far. I'll give the wheel a go at some stage. Enjoy!

Art Vandelay Round 1 -7... Averagely average Round 2 -3.. Pathetically poor putting Round 3 -7... Shrugging shoulders, suddenly slow, slow, slow Sorry Captain, hitting some poor form this past week or so, confidence is on the floor with my swing at the moment and it's not improving anytime soon

Good job I’ve got dlc to play with!! 🤣 Navigate to pickup in Alaska Press + up Pick recover Once inside garage, press X (to retain truck) Then Y to highlight different maps Think left and right bumper to navigate and + to chose Michigan or map you want to move truck to. Press X Then A Then navigate to leave garage (I think) I also struggled with that bit a bit but after a while one gets used to it. I think there are prompts to follow on screen

Art Vandelay Pub Patrol - Week 3 A little distracted this week as my basement finishing DIY project is starting to draw to a close and take a bit more of my attention. Shot out of a cannon to start round 1 with 2 eagles in the opening 4 holes. Played pretty consistent for the rest of the round but slowed down a little. Round 2 I started off strong as well with 3 birds in the opening 4 holes. However I think my finger slipped off the controller on my second shot on 5 which left me with a nasty third from 200 yds out. Wound up with a double on the hole. My momentum was shattered into pieces and the rest of the round was a struggle. Rounds 3 and 4 were pretty uneventful. Played alright but nothing to write home about

Art Vandelay OFTR Week 3 Struggled with this one having to adjust from the slow CC greens to the faster greens in this one. One of my most colorful cards in quite some time. Enjoyed the course even through the struggles

Been a while since I did anything with Soylent Greens. Was on a bit of a break from the game other than playing when I needed to. Just hadn't been feeling up to it, been a little off as of late. After all the hub bub about this weeks course I decided to set up a 4 rounder 3 day long on next weeks course. The Chop Suey Club (little known fact, chop suey is made from people) and played two rounds to warmup before jumping into boredom links in CC Weather report conditions with a tad bit of Alzheimer's testing. Looked at the weather report page, tried to memorize things like the orange ex president (person, table, clock,). Think I got it close. Usually write my 4 round setup down and set the event up from there but too lazy to reach 17 inches to my left and grab a piece of paper. PCSoylent Greens. All welcome.Join, play, rage quit, leave. Or piss off. No obligation to play all rounds or even a full one. Rage quiting or just quitting out of boredom is allowed. Beware folks. Next week is going to be face ripping hard. /s Some fun holes though. Alright, time to get it over with.

Bought another PC, partly because the missus needed an upgrade for her ailing laptop. She now has the one I got last October.
So I spent a long time putting everything I thought I would need onto an external SSD to be able to stick it on the new PC. That included the entire 2K23 folder as I thought it would include all my settings.
Not only could I not launch the game but Steam insisted I re-download the game. I feared the worst, but all my fittings seem to be there. However, they're not actually socketed into my clubs.
Now, before I start trying to recreate my set-up that I had before -- which is never going to be possible as I never screenshotted any of my clubs/stats and I have the memory of a goldfish -- is there likely to be a file I can import from my old 2K23 folder that I moved across, so that I can overwrite, for example, my unfitted clubs?
I am NOT looking forward to having to go through the agony of setting up my clubs from scratch, even though I have my fittings.
Annoyed Bear is annoyed.

My documents-my games-pga2k23 is the folder. Does it put everything back to what it was, not sure. I THINK so. Never tried it, or had the opportunity as I'm still on my old pc. Not sure if this is what you are looking for either as you say you moved one across. Or is it the steam one you moved, then if so then try moving the one from my docs, overwrite the new one on the new pc.

To be honest, the thought of going into My Documents never even entered my head; I just found the 2K23 folder in Program Files and sent it to the SSD.
I swear to God. The older I get, the less I know.

I'm not sure just doing a copy and paste of the Steam folder onto a new drive would work to be honest. You would need to use a program like Steam mover or (I think you can do from within Steam itself now, not sure how or where to find it.) If you just copy and pasted the folder from one drive to another may not work properly. (I'm no computer expert here lol) as you need to do it properly so the registry is written to properly. Calling on computer nerds here to correct me or smack me down. Anywho Here is where you can get Steam mover. I've used it in the past to move a game from my ssd to my hdd when foraging for ssd space. Never had an issue with it ever. www.traynier.com/software/steammover
