CC rounds 1 and 2.
My tee-to-green game was probably the worst since I picked up TGC 2019. There was yet another driver along the ground from the tee, more bad tempos than I could shake a stick at, and pitch shots that were going sideways and coming up 20 yards short. I managed to hole some putts, though, which in itself is miraculous as after about hole 4 of round 1 I'd pretty much given up trying and was in speed mode. I think I played round 2 in about 14 minutes.
I'm just sick to death of the stuttering and the random tempo at the moment. A straight shot for me is pretty much a miracle, and you just can't trouble the leaders when things are like that. I'm just really not enjoying playing right now.

I’m going to play both games. And I’ll always follow where the Brew Crew goes. But I don’t know how anybody over on the EA thread can even judge the EA game just yet? I didn’t know it was released yet, lol. I think Brew Crew will be going no where the amount of courses on this game will make sure of that. There’s a possibility that one of us might set a club or country club if they’re there on that game for a fun change of pace. For sure. I do think I will most likely get EA as well, unless the reviews are just god awful, but I actually think it will be decent enough. If it is, and there is enough of us playing both, I would love to have a mini EA Brew Crew season. Happy to run it!  |

yeah, keeping an eye on it. Will evaluate the game as normal once in hand for myself. Same here Sean. I'll probably enjoy it even if others think it's crap because I'm not a real golfer so my expectations of it mirroring real golf are lower. Like Les says, hopefully they have something like Country Clubs but with it not being cross platform we'll be divided into little clique's. |

Apologies for lateness, I am aware I am due Rounds 1 and 2 tonight... Which will be happening so please don't worry... Been sorting out BoB Ryder Cup stuff, ie spreadsheets and stream layouts, but will get them done

Missed a lot of putts on the second round. Woof. I kinda like mixing in a real course every once in a while, not sure if I’m in the minority on that.

I don't think there's an issue in using a real course Justin, just that some of us feel it would be better to give a designer some plays rather than use a HB/2K course that's been played to death. We've played plenty of RCR's in Real Ale which I'd love to see on the Tour. |

I’d love it if they did something where the week of these big tournaments we did “real” courses but give designers some creative license to make it their own. Like masters week do an interpretation of Augusta that isn’t just a carbon copy of Augusta. |

Pub Crawl Round 2: -9 A red hot start with 5 straight birds led to the inevitable meltdown before I got back on the roller coaster 5-hole stretch of 13 through 17...although today, I traded in one eagle for a birdie and one bogey for a par. Just like yesterday, I still went -4 for that stretch, just chose less nauseating path today. Art Vandelay  |
