Your scores are getting back to normal again Dave I haven't noticed any ghost breaks for the past 2 weeks, they're usually enough to trigger a melt down  On the PC greens have been changed dramatically. Their used to be 3 color green speeds, now their is at least 6. Made it a bit tougher to putt right now (as I learn it) but the super slow beads explain the old ghost breaks. |

I just don't get this game. I played all afternoon to get warmed up, and each society tournament I played in had different tempo. I'm used to driver tempo being different to irons, but this time they were one and the same. I just don't get it.
Decided to only play OFTR. I was actually at Glen Abbey in 1994, the year Nick Price won, as I have family not all that far away. I was still learning how to play at that time. I'll never forget Davis Love III smashing a wooden driver miles past 300 yards -- I remember thinking I'd never seen a ball fly like that -- but, more importantly, I will never forget watching the late and great Payne Stewart on the practice range. There were fireworks happening on the course; but I couldn't tear myself away from watching Payne and his beautiful golf swing, which I always tried to copy in my own game. I did watch Nick Price play the back 9 in the final round, though, making a perfect eagle on 16, I think it was. At my best, I played off 5 -- and that was about 20 years ago -- but I remember thinking that my best ever ball striking was a 1 compared to his 100. They really are that good.
I was very disappointed, therefore, to have played poorly round Glen Abbey. It is what it is, though. I will lick my wounds and, hopefully, come out fighting on Wednesday afternoon to play my first two CC rounds.
Hmmm. I can see the polar bear has got involved for some reason. That might be because I have finally gone with a dual-monitor set-up. After around 25 years of PC gaming, maybe I've eventually turned into a "proper" gamer. Watch this space  |

SkyBlueBen REAL ALE (-6)I'm pretty new here so still don't know what I am doing. I didn't realize you guys play 2 or 3 of these a week. So, I missed out on the Switzerland Lidar Course. That's a bit of a shame since I like the Lidar Courses. Anyways, I think I figured it out. Now I just need to keep my ball out of the water.

How is a Rachel supposed to catch a Ross asyoudo64 when I can't even catch a Bear? (I'm sure that tagging Ross is unnecessary but still fun) Down by two strokes to the Grizzly after 2 rounds. Finish this Designer Course up later. Yes, I am swinging my stick and see no 3 Click. (Nice Par on the Par 5 13th lol)  |

The best controller in pc gaming today for PGA 2K23
In Round One I had the putter going pretty good. Round Two started off with a bang of birdie, eagle, birdie or something like that. Anyways, once I got to hole 8, I started to lose my nerves and had to settle for par on a par 5. The par train continued until hole 11. The scorecard was clean, and I finished 18 with an eagle. A dozen in the first round and a one extra, for the baker, in the second. The easy ones that I missed were made up by making some long putts and chip ins, so it all works out in the end. 25 Under at the halfway point. Nostrovia!
