RUMble round 4. I usually hate the strong winds, so I brought my buddy asyoudo64 along for the ride to have a little fun with a couple brews instead of worrying about the breeze. I set the tempo for the round with finally getting the elusive eagle on hole 1, only to give one right back with a three putt on #2. But I righted the ship after that and settled in, staying away from the bogeys and adding four more birds for a -5 final round...good enough to lock me into 4th place in CC this week. As Art Vandelay would say, onward.....to the bar!  Not my best Round Michael, you were too good for me mate. I had a chance for another tour win, but this cost me. Pretty sure this is the first round I have actually scored lower than your ghost. You usually get me by a couple. Those winds and pin placements were brutal. I knew anything under par would get me into the top 10, so I actually tried playing conservative...somehow the shots landed where I needed them too. I should play conservative more often. You have been crushing it lately Ross. You are going to get that win next week!  |

Not my best Round Michael, you were too good for me mate. I had a chance for another tour win, but this cost me. Pretty sure this is the first round I have actually scored lower than your ghost. You usually get me by a couple. Those winds and pin placements were brutal. I knew anything under par would get me into the top 10, so I actually tried playing conservative...somehow the shots landed where I needed them too. I should play conservative more often. SkyBlueBen Real Ale. Have not had a gif-heavy post in a while so why not for Ben's fine new society. First apologies for just now catching up on scores. Last night I confirmed that I have a food allergy (somewhat related to some Lechter gifs posted earlier) in the worst way. Seems I am not in agreement now with lamb. That's right, I was silenced by lamb   Oh the lamb was screaming last night, from every orifice of my body. No more for me sadly, feel a bit sheepish in stating this. After that horrific night I feel much better but felt I needed a gawlf makeover. The golden latex man needed a jump start to his game. New clubs? Nah, like what I have. Fittings adjustment? All orange now, maybe later. So I did this:  Hours in the company salon to get this result. Sadly HB has not provided any gold wardrobe past the hat and glove. This kit is the closest I can get:  Might swap the undershirt, but that depends on my mood. Felt poppin' at Poppy with my new look. Back to back Humphs on the back slowed me down, but still scored in red figures.  Looking forward to second half of the RUMble then full steam into season 2. Onward!

Crumble Week 1 Round 4 Sparing the details, but my bookend eagles on 1 and 18 surrounded a bevy of bogies and cost me a second promo mark, as well as giving me four losses in division 3 at the break. Pardon me, Art Vandelay, as I continue my gentle slide into Brew Crew oblivion with a mostly very brain dead round. Rd 4: E (Scorecard deleted by the HB servers, thankfully) Downward!  |

Rd 4 : -10
Little disapointed with this last run as I was -8 on the front nine, but could not make much happening on the back nine. Anyhow, lets not be greedy, I take -10 any day of the week  . Also HIO on the par 3 n°2, meaning I had an eagle / eagle start, which I think is a first for me. I have now a good chance to actually get my first promo mark this season , still far from Ben ( SkyBlueBen), who continue to lead CC-G solidly, and I believe have a serious chance of winning it this week.
On second thoughts Tom I may have struck lucky. The lad I thought would overtake me didn’t. Got everything crossed now!! |

Looking at your avatar only reminds me how massively backwards HB/2K have gone in the wardrobe department. Loved the days when you could have anything in any colour you wanted. In other news, looking forward to the EA game. This one has become a little stale and all the stuff they changed I hate (skills, fittings, consumable balls). But at the end of the day going forward all that would really matter to me is for the PC/PS/XB guys to be able to tee off together online. |

Art Vandelay Rumble R4 -12 What a day for golf! I played 9 holes of real golf before work today and came as close to a hole in one as I've ever had (less than a foot from the hole). Then this evening on hole 1 of Round 4 of the Rumble I get my first albatross on any version of the game. I nearly wasted it with a double bogey on the second but then scored well through the rest of the round. Albatross on Hole 1   |
