Damn you can pre-order E A Sports PGA on steam already am considering deluxe version way cheaper than 2k23 when that came out
Going to come right out and say it: No course designer So only X number courses unless you buy more And past EA golf games let you apply spin to the ball…IN MID-FLIGHT… Hard pass. |

Well, this is a bummer. Just my luck, I am entering the weekend with a chance of a top 3 finish and I injure myself in the ONE place that can affect my pixel golf game. Doing dishes today, I sliced through my right thumb (of course) on some kind of blender blade that Laura just got. It's small and I didn't know what it was and I just was in the dish washing zone and grabbed it without even looking at it. My right thumb is looking like King Tut, wrapped up in four Band Aids. I completed round 2 of the Designer Showcase and played the Real Ale post injury, and you can see the horrible results. I played round 1 of DS last night with a respectable -4, but gave it all back with my mummy thumb with a +4 in round 2. Swinging wasn't that bad, but trying to get the sensitive touch of chips and especially putts was damn near impossible. I was pretty excited to take on Pen Knight in round 3 of RUMble tonight, as I had the house to myself for a couple hours, but will have to put it off until (hopefully) tomorrow when the cut closes and I can take the band aid off. I guess tonight is a good night to enter all of my new fittings into my fittings spreadsheet and finally start upgrading them with this $5,000 of VC. inflames47 Designer Showcase at The Drunken Eagle = E SkyBlueBen Real Ale at TPC Dorado = -2. I'll buy it when it goes on sale for like 20 to 30 bucks. Unless the TGC or Brew Crew decides to make some kick ass tour or competition out of the game. If that be the case, I'll pay full price but most likely I will just let all you rich folk test the game out for me till it goes on 50% sale or better. |

You know what they say about excuses, right, Michael? Jokes, brother - heal quickly! Haha I know right? Sounds suspect...I know. Sadly, my luck is horrible, so unfortunately it's true. The good news is, however, that it was like a paper cut that wouldn't stop bleeding. Those usually heal pretty quickly so I am hoping it's all good for tomorrow. I could probably take the band aids off now, but don't want to risk it. Tiger had his back, ACL, knees, neck and legs, I have my paper cut.  |

The simulation option may not allow the button mashing. We shall see Mark. As for courses, I prefer to play real courses and they have an amazing catalogue of them. If the career mode and online play is good then that will help its longevity. I loved the Tiger games on my console, so I’m hopeful it will provide £50-£75 worth of fun. We’ll see…. |

Crumble Week 1, Round 3 vs the Grand Dame Carol inflames47 Took future teammate and law firm partner Martin Mart_1980 to catch a glimpse of things to come.  Couldn’t back up my opening eagle, and a tee shot into the drink on #15 pretty much ruined any chance I had to catch Carol. Art Vandelay, I am losing my grip on Tier 3. When do I get to play the easier opponents?  Rd 3: -6  On to the fourth! |

 Pulled the trigger on the de-luxe version for $130AUD Won $110 on Powerball Lotto last night so I'm trying to convince myself (& my wife) that it's only cost me $20!  PS - love the auto tap-in option! Set it to 25' (errr 12") and Bob's your uncle!  |

From memory, the version before Rory, which I think was TW14, had a very compelling and engrossing career mode. They also had you trying to emulate TW's career stats - trying to win more Masters/Majors etc. than he did so there was always a reason to play more. I never played TW14 online but I have seen heaps of people rave on about how good it was. Let's hope they've learned the Rory lessons and go back to what they did best. |
