Thanks for bringing me in Art, Ben, and all the others. I am super excited to get the season started and proud to be a member of the Bourbon Bandits. I would just like to throw this disclaimer to my team. I am not nearly as bad as my handicap here shows. 🤣 I WAS, but that was BW (before Wolverine) so rest assured I won't be holding you back too much. I think I have gone from around a 0 in game handicap to a +12.3 since I got the Wolverine last week, so I feel confident I can at least contribute a couple points here and there. Side not SkyBlueBen. wll my big reveal is i am replacing Ball Whackers with my Fairway Hustlers
hopefully my team will push us towards success, with some interesting teams to say the least to challenge this coming season

Art Vandelay Rumble 4th round +1...I am glad to put this course in the rear view mirror. What an adventure! In real life, I play an intelligent brand of golf and pride myself on good course management. In pixel golf, sometimes I feel like I have the superman's cape on. I will bore you a little if you want to read on. It began on the 2nd hole, par 3. I hit on the front of the green and it had backspin off the green all the way 40' down into the water(#1) Double bogey. This unnerved me a little and pissed me off. 90% of my shots on the day were slows. I got knocked offline 3 times. A sane person would have finished another day. Not me! The up and down round continued until the par 5 16th. I had a 260 yard approach shot into an eleven mph wind. I pull out the driver,(I can do this I thought.) Here comes the only fast swing of the day into the water.(#2) A triple bogey followed this stupidity. I wasted 6 birdies with a triple, double and 2 bogies. This probably cost me a promotion up a flight. Whining over. This may give you a clue as to my age....my first superman! (for you youngsters, that is George Reeves.)

inflames47I’m not sure if your still playing Brew Crew designers courses but I’ve just ported 2 of my 2K21 courses Dunnet Head Golf Links and Playa de Laguna GC which used to be called Playa de San Miguel GC but for some reason it got called out by the profanity filter in 23 WTF is wrong with San Miguel.

Must admit I’m likely to buy. Just hope it’s not another Rory. Me three. OMG - just finished reading all the info about shot types etc.etc. There's a hell of a lot to take in. For those interested there is a ton of info in the EA thread contained in the Clubhouse folder. Don't see an option to pre-order deluxe version on the PS5 - only standard? |
