You just posted a gif of her. That was unexpected in 2022, especially on a site like this. Thus, unexpected Granholm. Us Brit's don't have a clue who she is. Is she more/less popular than the Cowboys?  Ha! Good question. When she was governor where I lived, oh boy she was less popular. But that's also because we weren't wasting our time even thinking of the stupid Cowboys. |

who can tell me what im doing wrong this barstool golf thingy break 90 playing 18 holes on an official course to earn apparel items i played torrey pines south shot -3 & i didnt earn the barstool cap which you supposedly get by 1 sub 90 round does it have to be career as i played local match not that bothered but i like free stuff lol Apparently you don't get the sh%$ until the 16'th or thereabouts. They'll probably @!$# it up though. I played 5 or 6 rounds of career and nothing. But in the very extreme small print in the spam add thing in game it says you get it all later on. I'll play my 20 rounds just to do it but it's pain full in career. Courses leave some to be desired for the most part with the brutal greens.  Got my hat and shirt this morning Tim. Shirt is pretty good 👍🏼 |

Why did they make the putting easier on the fringe? Now whatever the green speed is the fringe is the same speed as well. Did people moan about how harder it was to judge the putting from the fringe and they gave in and made it easy?Let’s just put this at beginner mode. The problem was when putting from the fringe, as soon as it got on the green it sped up at faster than green speed. Now why they couldn't fix this problem and not make them both the same, I don't know Randy. Remember, this is HB we're talking about 🤣. I agree with you. Make the fringe speed maybe 20 less than the green speed, just get rid of the slingshot effect 😉. This is yet another bug in the game that's been around for as long as I can remember. It's so frustrating that HB apparently don't give a shiny sh1t about fixing things that are broken and, in many cases, broken for years.
As soon as you pull the putter out when you're on the fringe, the game will drop the number you see to reflect the speed of the fringe. Let's say you were putting on a 134 green. You'll now see, say, 104. What you think is now a 104-speed putt actually isn't. You're only putting at 104 for that very short distance before you hit the green proper. As soon as the ball reaches the green, it's running at 134 speed. If you played as if the whole length of the putt was at 104, you'll find yourself a long way past the hole.
Once you get to much faster greens than 134, the problem becomes magnified and you may as well get the wedge from your caddy before the ball has even stopped rolling. Official line from HB about this is: "Because f*ck you. That's why."

id got used to how (pre-patch or whatever) to putt by moving marker & was consistently pretty close or sunk
with the easier as it is now the few fringe putts ive tried ive got no -where near lol
The putting speed for me seems to have changed a little. I use Respawn’s method which is pretty simple and at 139 I was a little low with my putt so I’d always add a little more power. Now, at the same 139 and same break the putt goes right in without adding that extra power. I had noticed for a few holes the other day I was hitting it past the hole with that adjustment of that particular speed. And fringe putting is the same as being on a normal flat surface. And in real golf that is not the case. You have to hit it a little harder coming off the fringe. In the old game if you were putting on 163s and on the fringe your putt was around 101. |

But even with the slingshot effect it was just a partial putt. I thought it was simple. But now it is just a normal putt but that damn flag pole is in as it should but be careful as you know if hit too hard it just bounces off. With my tempo a yo yo off at times I tend to be on the fringe a lot so I’ll save some strokes on some holes with some short putts to the hole. My chipping from the fringe was erratic and streaky. |

TBCDS rd 3 Painhurst No 2's +36 When bogey is considered a good score on a hole you know somethings wrong. Not helped ,if you miss the hole ,it's a splash shot from a bunker and their all or nothing. Safe to say not a fan of the course or 186 green speeds and pins so close to big slopes. +54 total inflames47 |
