Designers Showcase inflames47 Wetlands an appropriate selection today. Another beautiful almost summer day in Tassie. 4 degrees and pouring rain. Loving it 🤣. Anyway to the golf... Enough said. 🤣  Always enjoy this course from the Wise one. P.S. does anyone know if there was a section in the latest patch that reverts Xbox swing back to crap. Just saying 🤣🤣 Double check you are using the Series X/S version Ross. After the update I accidentally opened the Series One version of the game. If you go into Graphics and have both
Performance and Quality settings then you are on the right one. The Series One version doesn't have Performance/Quality options.

My home golf course today 🌧😱. Our first fairway is next to the road, which is the main highway up the East Coast of Tasmania.    I reckon you could still sneak 9 holes in on there Ross - just pack your canoe! |

Designer's Showcase @ kakadu Wetlands

First round since the patch. Well I was +5 after 4 holes, considering wether or not to throw my laptop through the window, then things gradually improved a bit. Got a chip in eagle on par 5 n°8, and a few bogeys and birdies to finish the back 9 on par. Tough course, and I swear the water messed with my head at the beginning  . No greenside bunker on this round, so was not forced to splash. Will see how that goes on my next coming rounds

Ramblings of a troubled mindIf one invested hard earned skill points into one's wedges for better timing on splash shots and it only activates after 3 badly timed shots, is it fair then if one ends up in a greenside bunker on the 1st hole? If the game indicates that a lob wedge splash will travel 34 yards, how many splashes will it take before the 34 yard claimed distance is reached? Would it be considered cheesing the game if one declares an unplayable if one is inside a greenside bunker?

Kept looking at the splash shot ones and thought, I never splash, will be a waste. Only reason I considered them was in a couple rounds of local play and getting into rage/speed golf mode I used the splash because I was in rage/speed golf mode and couldn't have been bothered changing to a chip. Those splashes worked lol. So here I was thinking I'm getting the hang of splash shots, only to be smacked down when playing a round that hadn't devolved into a rage/speed play. So I put my extra points into the one for pitch shot spin. Only to have my pitches give me moments of wtf was that? So I'll be resetting again. Points removed from pitch shots to be put into splash shots. I'm killing all my Viet Cong on resets last couple days. lol /ramblings from a tired mind/ |

Designer stuff at Kakadu WetlandsNever got any of my balls wet. Did land in the sand though. Just once. The end where a splash was needed to get out. Did not go too well. Nice course
