I teed off right after the latest patch. For some reason, I was now playing with the default ball( It rolled and rolled and rolled on the green).
Also my fault, I had not had much time to practice the bunker shot splash...bad. My club yardages changed...why?

I don't have time to test out the new patch will see how it goes tomorrow. But I just want to say. No need to ever apologize on my team. Though I know I do it all the time lol |

Some of the “special” balls increased flight but reduced roll and bounce so perhaps changing back to default that’s what changed your yardages |

I started doing a spreadsheet a couple of days ago about the effect of club distances and green speed each bonus ball did, which is now redundant lol
However I will look at finishing it, or ask some people for help aswell as I surprisingly have no orange or purple ball sets and post it for people to see / use

Does not start until week 3 You cannot change settings once a tourney has started. I still had my friction ball for round 4 which I just played |

Has anyone actually tried chipping out of bunker since patch. If so is it noticeable.
I'm ok at flop and I've been ok at long range sand shots from greenside bunkers but was always garbage with close ones. So best not go in them eh.

When that happens (run out of balls), does it give you any notice or anything? iirc, when you finish a round with the last ball of that type, it gives you an offer to buy a sleeve in the corner. Possible to have missed it if that's the case. |

Hopefully they will kill off promo and demo marks for this week to let us default ball players get away with murder... hehe.. this is going to be real fun as we see the scores become more natural not that I'm scoring well, but being par or better, even a little bit is better than being over par.

We will be following the prohibited default ball settings in Knockout and OFTR and of course TGC tours, but I will allow consumables in Designers Showcase for this week for those who choose to do so. Then will go to prohibited.
