Art Vandelay CC Round 1 -10 Found it a nice course to start CC with. Had a bogey out there and my tempo was a little all over the place. My fault for playing on my lunch break. Just a good feeling to get the season off and running. Edit: Posted while dave69 was posting. First points to the Bombers

inflames47 prestnoch public golf links yes used a purple ball my problem was an early par 5 which i found a bunker but was determined to splash out hence i couldnt get out 7 shots later lol then a par 3 scored a 6 & bogey on last just cant seem to score well in designer no clue as to why

I thought you all knew my style of humour, but obviously it is something you have all forgotten... I was being slightly sarcastic and not in the sense of annoying anyone it was just because I had to go through 4 pages since the previous time I checked the thread before I started my rounds at 10am in order to report my designer showcase round.
There is some humour I see from other members that I don't like but I don't complain I just ignore it and get on with life.

Art Vandelay Round 2 and although there was improvement the finish has me quite guarded. Still finding my way around this game. Onward Casuals! Followed you around a bit at the end of last week's TST tourney. Thought you handled yourself really well-- finishing at E. I ended with +35 but am determined to do better this week. I am +3 currently after two rounds. |

Art VandelayGlad that round is over, because that swing was rancid after a while. CC R1: -4 Maybe nerves set in a bit when I had one birdie through 6 holes despite my swing feeling smooth, but around the 7th, my swing absolutely turned to mush. Nearly everything was fast on the black/grey border and I think it wasn't til the 15th til I finally had a really good swing off the tee, spoiled by dumping my simple pitch short of the green. Eagles to start and finish the back nine was nice, but my drive on 10 was a bit of a mishit that was fortunate to chase down the fairway, my drive on 18 was a hook that just stayed in the fairway and my hybrid I mishit, leaving me 30 feet up the hill.
