OMG!
The club fittings are as confusing as hell!
Soooo many! Different colours - different clubs. So many pluses and so many minus to attributes it's impossible to keep track of.
Decided to spring clean and exchange and upgrade every single fitting I had (3 to 1 ratio - get rid of 3 and receive 1 of the higher tier)
So now I only have the orange fittings (the best) to keep track of.
The eventual aim is to have orange fittings on all clubs - heads, shafts and grips and then we're done!

I actually like the archetypes. It balances things out for one and then you can change depending on courses that you face. I’m currently using powerhouse and boy you can bomb it 350ish. It said other areas would be weakened but I really have not noticed quite yet. But I have only tried Woodsman and Greensman or whatever their names are….. I personally think the skills tree is garbage. Won't be using that but will be fitting my clubs. Currently on Greensman in driving over 300, still trying to get a feel around greens but that partial chip animation looks like crap. I have some skills set but couldn't tell you what I have or don't have. Then you get in game and one of them highlights, again have no idea what has just been activated, carry on as normal and feel no difference. |

I have some skills set but couldn't tell you what I have or don't have. Then you get in game and one of them highlights, again have no idea what has just been activated, carry on as normal and feel no difference. I have yet to look at skill sheets. All I know is I have 16 points and don’t have a clue on how I got them…. I’m on powerhouse and bashing it at 350. It said you’d suffer in other areas and have not really noticed. |

I’ve added four skill points, three to my driver and one to putter in the first column and not seen any of them highlight. I’ve never shot under par or even near it so I’m not sure what’s happening with that. |

You must be level 16 my understanding is you get a skill point every time you go up a level. |

Crap.
Game is updating via steam. 7.5. gigs
SSD has 5.7 gigs free.
I suck at math but something seems off lol.
Really don't want to a) move it to my hd drive b) attempt using that Steam move install folder. c) have download quit when it's nearly done only to have to do it again. Hoping that 7.5 update is an overwrite and not an additional 7.5 gigs. d) hope this update is removing the "screw Tim" code.

I also had a 2k23 1'st for me today. I rage quit. Was doing great for a while, then my tempo when to sh%$. And my bloody blue line is not even near the grey area. I don't know what the hell was going but I've never seen my swing path so far off ever. In either versions. I decided to just quit and come back to it later on. Have a few free hours now, hope I get back in and not spend my afternoon updating.
I may have broken a 2k23 record. I have 10 points in my PGA Career. I'M struggling big time. Going to finish it off and hope the other sponsors open up for next season. Is there a next season. You just go year one, two etc.? I can't believe these robots in the other part of the forum where they are complaining it's too easy and are shooting double digits under par. Must be nice.
Update 88% now. I think I'm going to make it
