The channel isn't ready for the public yet. Customer support made a mistake in giving me the link. I was literally the only non 2K person in there. No activity in there at all. Guessing they are just creating the sub channels etc at the moment and that it will go live once the game officially releases. I was able to join the discord channel from the link you provided Sean. Ah, yeah I tried again and got in. Might be worth another try lessangsterWas able to see their reply that I didn't see earlier before I was removed. Apparently internal discussions are are in place regarding the sleeve balls. One can hope! |

I haven't spent any either so far, Danny. Spent nowt myself so far except for a pair of sunglasses (which didn't improve my play!). Not sure my brain can cope with skill tree or fittings so I'll probably waste them anyway! Will get to level 20, stop the grind, and blow the lot!!  |

Guys, do whatever you want, but I stringly suggest to not buy any clothes or balls. Keep your money, cause this game is very greedy. There's 100 different perks that you will unlock just by playing the game. That's FREE! Yay! But putting them on your club isn't free. It's @!$#ing pricey! Take a look That's just for 1 perk on my irons, and this is not a one shot deal. If I remove this perk, I will have to pay for another one. If I don't like it and want to put this one back on? Well, pay again b%&! This is how ridiculous the economy of this is. So keep your coins. They will change that, people will rage too much A lot of video games do this. You get more VC in the early levels and then it gets harder to get as you level up..That is just industry now. I’ll just grind and not worry too much about VC….. I still feel the best players will still be the best players no matter what. And more than likely once people find their archetypes they will slot in their usual tiers if they play TGC. I did see a top 10 player who was in a chat on Twitch saying they were not too happy with how the game is now. The way I read his comment was that the skill is somewhat pushed aside as you can pull out the wallet to win if you want. But I still feel the best players still have skill with the stick. They have that touch the others don’t have and will never have. |

I'm having a ball with an hat (!) and you can admire the physics of this game cause you see every spin of the ball. This make the last game look very bad. I don't think no one will miss 2K21 soon. I think we gonna see some nerf and buff here and there. They are not affraid to make change. And I get what tou say, it's everywhere. But I can't recall something that stupid. Just like NHL23 or Madden would make you pay for changing your line or making a trade. Same level of stupidy. Yeah archetype can save our ass, but archetype is exactly like I saying all your clubs with be silver, all gold, all purple or longer than purple clubs in 21. Each archetype is very different than others. And no, not affraid a bad player will come beat me cause of a ball he paid. It's actually the contary, only top cream that win Apex tournament will be able to buy some. Alot of players will make that mistake: practice all week long with the default ball, and going with a super ball for their TGCTOURS on sunday. Bad rookie mistake. You gotta play with the ball that you practice with. A new ball will change all kind of shot calculation. Not the time to discover all of this while you're trying to make the cut. So overall, this greedy economy will kill lots of societies, cause average players trying to get better won't be able to afford tourny (no added bonus too, it's gone!) and ball skins will be more usefull than actual balls... |

Also just did some practice. 3 holes for chipping and four different pins for putting. Seriously?  They had 2 years. Surely a bit more variety should be possible. I think they didn't bother because they thought everyone would just use top golf. There's some great stuff in this new game, but there is also some very ordinary stuff as well. For the late comers. Quick tip for the Friday boys. Careful in Career mode. Any approach shots under 150 yards default to a pitch. Not sure if that can be changed 🤔.
No real drama, but have left a lot short because of it.

I don't use quick resume, I always exit the game after each session by returning to the home screen, selecting the game, pressing the three line button and selecting exit. |
