Marathon Done. Rollercoaster of emotions but can say I'm now a marathon runner. Currently on the train home after a very uncomfortable and painful shopping trip with the family today. (Not my brightest idea) Back to work tomorrow but ready to see this game out tomorrow eve. Congrats on your Marathon run. I hope the shopping trip was worth the pain..btw love the Nose !

Art Vandelay Saved my best for the final round even tho a bit of bitterness on the last hole: Like others have said, can't complain about 4 rounds under par on TST. Side bar: Watched respawntv 's latest vid which is a side by side of 2K21 and 2K23 . Nice watch if you have time, very well done and a nice perspective leading to release of the new game. Onward!

I agree with you Art four rounds under par under TST rules is no mean feat I’m hoping my last round will be under par and I will be a happy bunny.

I think there will be great concern about that power bar timing and golfer animation not lining up especially when putting, was a concern in 2k21 for mouse players (Doecoba found frustrating at times). So lets hope they fix that. Good video to watch thanks for sharing.

So lets hope they fix that. Good video to watch thanks for sharing. I have had the power bar and shot feedback turned off for so long, I'm not sure how that will effect me or folks who play similarly. If I can be candid I find that stuff distracting, I've always concentrated on watching the movement of the avatar in conjunction with my swing. New game always has new tempo, but with not such a drastic change in the swing maybe the transition will not be as difficult for all no matter what swing method. I'm sure the shank a few shots and whiff on a putt or two. I do enjoy the vids, but I am ready to go to the new game. Onward!

I never used the power bar or vibration function either Art preferring to go of the avatar’s swing position Edit: it just requires a few hours on the practice range which I’m told is better than the old one we’ve had for ages, it’s been created by Arctic Fury so should look good

Onward! nor have I but I know there was always a complaint about a delay when pulling a putter back on Mouse players looking at this video it almost looks like yes they'll be a delay. It looks as though it does not match up with a player bringing his Club back regardless of whether it's on or off I wonder if when the ball connects with the putter head it might overshoot the pin. Time will tell. It certainly was a concern by respawn in his video and I hope that they do address it so that it matches up with the animation of the golfer.

If you play 2K21 on the old Xbox at 30Hz rather than 60Hz you can feel the delay in the swing it’s night and day the difference.

Now that my final week of TBC is complete I would like to take this moment to thank all my fellow Admins and all the players that have given so much to this community. I think Everyone has worked hard at making this one of the most successful community run events in TGC. It is very hard to tag one person and not all persons, because each and everyone of you have added to The Brew Crew success, whether it was behind the scenes in the Admin Room, or out in the open forums with sharing your golfing high and low's with humor and dignity. I look forward to another fantastic experience with this group in the new game. We all have some new learning curves coming up, so sharing is caring. Feel free to let post your thoughts about the new game and ideas on moving forward.
Once again, a Huge Thank you, from me to All of you! Flamesy

Art VandelayTBC TST As suggested I took a couple ghosts along in round 1 to show me how it’s done. Actually played well. Was limited by some poor reads on putts but I kept the card clean until the 17th when a slow tee shot left me scrambling to make bogey. Round 2 I played solo and was a bit more back and forth on the front but regained a bit of my round 1 form on the back and steadied the ship. Round 3 was pretty uneventful until I stumbled upon something that seemed to work for me, putting from the ground camera angle. I was able to surge to a decent score. Round 4 I think the focus ran out a bit on the greens. Still was able to secure a decent score for me but a number of near misses kept it from being better Overall I enjoyed the rounds and the setup. Played surprisingly well given how I’ve generally been playing of late. My one gripe with the settings (and maybe it’s just me being inexperienced as I’ve only played TST twice now) is that you can’t spin around the ball and look from the ground on the other side when putting. In real life you’re at least able to walk around the ball. Other than that I think it forced me to slow down and analyze shots which is probably a good thing 😂
