Real sad to see him go from here. His courses are top notch. And always been a most helpful part of TBC. Hope he decides to return but he's not the first friend of the group to go. |

I'm a micro wave oven virgin - need help please
My technical knowledge development hit a brick wall during DOS 5.1 and fax machine days. Now i'm having to get the new latest and greatest xbox controller, but i also want to use a cable when playing. Old skool means it gets plugged in or it is not good enough.
Only new controllers here are all wireless, but salesman says usb-c cable will work (which they don't sell). My question is - can i buy a cell phone usb-c charging cable or should i shop around for an xbox usb-c cable? Was thinking along the lines of possible data transfer speed/whatever might make gaming better or worse or does that not even come into play anyway? Using a PC

Thanks to all who run The Brew Crew and made this a lot of fun for me, and put back some excitement into playing the cc rounds, (especially Ben) who made me feel very welcome when I joined and to you all, sorry I didn't stay for longer. I’d tend to get an Xbox usb-c cable to be on the safe side Marc. I use the cable that came with my XB Elite controller (which is still sat in its box as I prefer my Series X controller!). |

I typically use "other brands". I've found the x-box cables have a shorter lifespan. But maybe that's just my bad luck... |

So that VctryLnSprts and Baby Bull's accounts both deleted in a matter of weeks.. Are we thinking potentially being taken on as proper course designers for future golf games... ie. EA version?

I saw the unfortunate issues you had with that hole zooby97. Looked like a glitchy water table from how it played with your ghost. Could also tell from then on that your head wasn't in the round! Good luck though with your last two rounds for CC. You got this! Just bad luck with the lie. But if I execute the tee shot better then none of that happens. And yes, I was just trying to rush through the rest of round. I never mail it in but was a little demoralized, lol |

I played these ones with some water in my eyes as yesterday I had to say fare thee well to 20 years companion Tilleul (Linden).
I can't count the times I designed and played cyber-golf under its questioning gaze : "What the hell he's he doing? it's me the home's grumpy !"
I don't know if he helped me from above, but the scores are decent (and the course rather easy too) :

Didn't know about Eric (VctryLnSprts) but was surpirsed he didn't do a new course post on release of Malvern. Wouldn't be surprised if they are using decent designers to do the base courses for the next golf games whether it is EA or 2K we will just have to wait and see. |
