Scramble to the Bar - Division Four Tussle Fighting Dan H portred to avoid relegation, the final round was a series of peaks and valleys, a regular emotional rollercoaster, an attempt not to finish last in the scramble round and tumble into the Playskool kids’ table known as Division Five (full disclosure: I fully accept that I should be a permanent resident in Division Five). It was after three straight bogeys on holes 8-10 that my bitter fate was sealed, and the warm comfort of mediocrity began to surround me like an ocean of melted cheese. Followed that with consecutive pars and the cheese life seemed imminent. Then a vision appeared: the head of Carol on the body of Paige, calling to me in the voice of Sean Connery. “Indiana… let the grail go…” Yes, Carol Paige Connery! You’re absolutely right! I knew a day would come that a life in Division Five is eventual…but IT IS NOT THIS DAY! With a focus as razor sharp as a sharp razor, I took on the final five holes, and hatched four little birdies, destroying any hope Dan H had of avoiding relegation, and getting to hang out just above the sub-basement for yet another season. Art Vandelay, and one last hurrah to SkyBlueBen, I give you the fruits of my treacherous labor. Scramble Round: -3 To paraphrase the best line from the original Ghostbusters, “Yes, your honor, it’s true. This man has no dick.”

For kicks, I played the first round of Make Mine a Double Maybe I don’t belong in Division 5 after all.

CC rounds for the week. I have to say that, since starting to play this game back at the TGC2019 stage, I've never come across a tournament course that I would happily never play again; boring, uninspired, and a total waste of a perfectly good potato field.
Onward, upward and sideways

Round 4—a little tardy, sorry, pulled my home office apart to re-jig it to accommodate a new gaming PC and took longer than expected. I new that I needed -9 to get to the top of division 5 scramble (although it still leaves me 1 point short for top of the overall table), and I needed a -13 to get a promo mark in my first CC-E tournament. Well... I had it going pretty good until an errant drive on the very long 15th put a bogey on the card. D'oh! Finished one shot short at -12. 🍸 SkyBlueBen Art Vandelay

I just got one, too but graphics card wasn't working so waiting for the replacement to arrive. But there's nothing better than a sparkling new system.
