Tumble to the Floor Week 2, Round 2 or Getting Silly with the Grand Dame Taking a rare singles turn with Carol inflames47 (side note: my phone always wants to autocorrect to @inflamed47… calling Dr. Freud…Dr. Sigmund Freud…) Bill Nye works too. This week, I’d give my left nut for a flat putt. A paucity of birdies as most of my opportunities turned into goose eggs. Found myself needing to bird two out of the last three holes after an untimely humph on 15. Nearly got them both on the 17th tee shot, which rolled up to the hole nicely, my first Brew Crew ace in the making, and subsequently tapped the flagstick, leaving me a gimme two foot birdie putt. Failed to get it on 18, which led to the eventual push with the delightful Miss Carol. Art Vandelay and SkyBlueBen I give you: Rd 2: -4 They say a tie is like kissing your sister, but in reality, a tie with Carol is like kissing your hot aunt who’s barely older than you. I need to suspend my PornHub account.

Bumble Out the Door Week 2, Rd 3 If you track my scorecard closely, you’ll see where I singlehandedly drained Ashton’s Ashton Fox rum barrel, then sobered up, before draining a second one, then finally discovering cocaine on the last hole. Spotted Ashton a very nice 3 to 8 stroke lead right out of the chute, Art Vandelay and SkyBlueBen. Let’s see how Foxy handles that kind of pressure, shall we? Rd 3: -1 Next up…playing with myself.

Rumble Week 2 Ken Lokosky Well played through this in extreme pain. Slipped on some well hidden ice while cutting firewood on Sunday. Can still hardly move. (No joke). Here is my card. Best 4 rounds of pure hitting the ball I’ve had in a long time. If the putter would have a bit better…… 🤷. Can’t wait til new season starts with my new mates…. SkyBlueBen The Brew Crew's resident nurse is on her way....get better soon mate....

Rumble Week 2 Rd 1 (-8) was heading towards double digits under par until I climbed aboard the par train. During my ride I had 4 edge burners. I also missed 2 eagles with edge burners on two Par 5’s.The head winds, especially the 11 o’clock and 2 o’clock winds messed up a few approach shots but somehow saved the holes with pars. It should have been better but I’ll take it. I took a peak at Round 2 conditions and saw the low winds but very fast greens. That's the kind of form Randy that will secure the Season 9 title for GIASI. I’ll be ready and will give it all for our team.

I have two observations. Firstly, wtf happened to Palutena this week? Secondly, I hope Fuzzylionfish isn't chipping on the greens again; he has previous for that, witnessed by myself in a different society only this afternoon. I saw your comment in the society I’m not going to mention it’s name I will leave that to others. 😜 Les, I just went back to check. I couldn't remember making any society comment, so my immediate thought was, "How drunk was I?" lol. I do remember making a comment many, many months ago, or even a year or more ago, or even back in TGC 2019

Yeah, more than likely, Les, but it would have been in connection with other people that I've banned in IB. The kicking boots Carol gave me are very comfortable, don't you know?

Rd 2(-8) I no doubt left 3 putts on the table but otherwise happy with the round with the 187s. I was going for 4 birds in a row on Hole 5 and messed it up some and getting a Par on Hole 11 was another missed opportunity. But that is golf.

SkyBlueBen Art Vandelay R3 -8 I missed one easy birdie from not concentrating properly but otherwise I played OK. My fellow CRAKPot, Harveydog500, was too good for me on this one.

After the first week of Rumble to the Bar, I realised I definately had to raise my game if I wanted a chance of getting any points at all. Those guys in division one play some darn good golf.
I did manage to raise my game and played a good tournament week two. Only real hickup was when my PC crashed in the middle of my second shot on hole four in my second round. After my reboot it turned out my second was not so bad - I was just outside the gren and had a chip with a good chance of eagle but at least a safe birdy. Unfortunately the crash put my concentration off a bit and instead of hitting what I thought was a chip, I hit a full shot 100 yards over the green and found myself in aweful terrain with snakes & crocodiles (could have been). I managed to get it back on green but not close enough, so a two put and the certain birdy had transformed into a bloody stinking bogie.
Apart from that mistake the week went fine, and it was a pleasure for me to have a week with some decent green speeds and not all slower greens. First two rounds I had a lot (maybe 10-12) excellent shots, splashes, chips and puts that was so close to eagles, HIO's and birdies. Not shots that would normally be expected to go in but gee they were close. With a little luck my scores could have been several shots better, but I take pleasure in hitting so many good shots. Round 3 everything was pretty perfect as was round 4. Only difference was that the faster greens in round 3 were easier for me to put than the slower 169 in round 4. That however, is as it always is for me.
So all in all good week 2 - now all that is left is to see if any of this is enough to get some points against "the big guys".

SkyBlueBen Art Vandelay R4 -7 I think the scrambled eggs and rum balls combination was starting to make me sick as I got hit by a plague of Slows on the back 9. A solid week overall.

Art Vandelay Ashton Fox inflames47 SkyBlueBenHey folks I hate to spring this upon you all but is it possible that I recuse myself from play in all events this week. I'm dealing with Covid and generally just feel too crappy to play. I left it till now because yesterday I felt not too bad. Ate for the 1'st time in a couple days and thought I was out of the woods. Like man I felt pretty good yesterday. Until this morning when I woke up to feeling really crappy again. I'm sorry to do this to you guys and hope I'm not screwing anyone over. I always like to submit my scores nice and early and not be the tardy one who has to be chased for his score. And here I am today feeling a tool for leaving until last minute. If I'm back in action next week and I still in the rumble or am I done?

If you think you'll be ready by Sunday all is fine. If you think you might need a sub for next week let us know. And if you get your round in this week, all is ok too. Just get better. Onward.
