JG: Hello everybody! Jennie Garcia here and welcome from our new Golf studio, here on TBCTV, your home for all things Brew Crew related. I am joined in the studio by 4-time TGC short-game shot of the week winner Chipper McGee and along from him is one of the greatest hookers on Tour, Dave-Lee Hooker. Jim Nantz will be joining our wonderful crew later in the week and will become TBCTV’s main lead golf analyst.
Season 11 brings us some new fresh faces, some returning players and renewed rivalries which we always look forward to.
Here are the matchups for Week 1 coming on your screens at home now.
JG: Match 1 we have Team Baloo, Bear Necessities squaring off against the Sultans Of Swing, lets hope they aren’t in Dire Straits after that match.
Match 2 sees Hobgoblins against the Brews Brothers.
3rd match off the tee will be the Beer Belly Boys against .. can I actually say this team name on live tv??
CM: Of course you can, we are on cable tv, so anything goes …
JG: in that case, @!$# it .. Beer Belly Boys against those inglorious Plastered Bastards .. that felt really good saying that out loud on national TV.
D-LR: Lets just hope they don’t play like plastered bastards.
JG: and the 4th groupings will see the Chu-Chu-Chuggers against the Raiders
The Americas Tour
JG: We start our opening rounds on The Americas Tour down in the swamplands of Louisiana at Bayou Lafitte. Designed by Matt Williams
whodatmatt34 Chipper, what’s your recollection of this course.
CM: Well Jennie, this par 72 course seems wide open from your initial view, but it will soon become clear enough that driving will be key, as any cross winds will give those gators from the water a chance to play with your balls.
D-LR: I agree Chipper, those gators will go hard on your balls should you go to close to them. Remember what happened to Puff Caddie last year coming down on 18. Puff hooked his drive near the water. He sent his caddy to run down the fairway, he then whipped his balls and his big, long driving shaft out to distract the gators away from Puff’s ball so he could get it away from the water.
JG: Ahh yes, how could we forget Puff Caddie’s caddy getting his balls and shaft out.

D-LR: Yes, Jennie. I always enjoyed the everlasting sunshine of the Australian coastline. Another course where fairways off the tee are going to be the deciding factor. If the wind gods are not in your favou r, you may be needing your swim trunks.
CM: This beautiful course on the edge of southern Australia. If you look hard enough across the water, you will spot one of our good friends here at TBCTV
asyoudo64 , sitting in the garden, with a couple of tinnies, the BBQ going nicely and the grandkids are out whacking some snakes and spiders around in the garden with their grandad’s wedges.

JG: For our first OFTR of Season 11 we pay a visit to Daybreak Bluffs, created by Adam Hill. This par 71 course is a relative unknown factor, which means that scoring will be at a premium. A new course to the tour this season, have any of you guys played this track yet?
CM: Nope
D-LR: Me neither, so haven’t a clue what to expect apart from the unexpected
