A middle of the table battle sees Gin’ll Fix It square off against Fireballers. It would be Fireballers looking to jump into 3rd place in the table. They would start off strong on day 1 with a sweep of the matches. Gin’ll Fix It would get on the board to open day 2 with a dominant victory. However, Nigel and Trevor would take the momentum back for Fireballers to close the day and the Fireballers would take a 6-2 lead across the pond.

Match 2: Rum Raiders vs Buzz’n Boozers
Rum Raiders and Buzz’n Boozers do battle with the Boozers looking to end any chance the Raiders have at a title. The Raiders needed a perfect week to have a chance and unfortunately for them, their hopes ended early on day 1. The Boozers came out firing on all cylinders taking both matches to open the first day. Their onslaught continued into the second as they once again took both matches over the lifeless Raiders. This one heads overseas as a bit of a stunner with the Boozers blanking the Raiders, 8-0

Match 3: Hobgoblins vs Double D
Hobgoblins looking to close out the season championship find themselves in a matchup with Double D who are looking to avoid the Wooden Spoon. Double D would come out strong on the opening day punching Hobgoblins in the mouth with an opening day sweep. Hobgoblins would bounce back to open up day 2 with a win from Charles and Tony. However, it would be Double D regaining the momentum to stun Hobgoblins heading overseas with the lead, 6-2.

Match 4: Eye of the Beerholder vs Bear Necessities
The Wooden Spoon leading Beerholders looked to end their season in spoiler fashion against the team making a frantic late season push to the top of the table, Bear Necessities. The proved to be little resistance early to the hottest team in TBC as Necessites came out and throttled them on day 1 with two dominant victories. The beat down continued in the second day as once again Necessities were dominant in both matches to take a commanding 8-0 lead overseas.

JN: What an exciting start to the week. Let’s move overseas to the Rest of the World Tour

Match 1: Gin’ll Fix It vs Fireballers
The Fireballers kept up their momentum overseas taking both matches on day three in close battles to secure the draw. Pressing on for the win the Fireballers headed into the final day needing one match to secure it. They wouldn’t have to wait long as Alan turned in a dominant performance to claim the opening match of the day. Nigel would add on a win in the second match. Gin’ll Fix It would earn their second win of the matchup in the third match as Paul dispatched Randy. However, Trevor would secure the win in the final match to make the final 16-4 Fireballers.

Match 2: Rum Raiders vs Buzz’n Boozers
The Raiders would spring to life overseas however putting some wind back in their sails in the better ball rounds. The Raiders would take both of the day 3 matches to keep themselves in it. However, their chances at a come back were dashed on day 4 as Sean and Tomi sealed the win for the Boozers on the final day. Art was able to secure one final win on the season for his squad but Johnny closed out the day with a win to seal a dominant Boozers victory. This one was all Boozers, 14-6

Match 3: Hobgoblins vs Double D
Hobgoblins would edge closer to open day 3 with a dominant win in the first better ball matchup. However, much like day 2, Double D refused to yield as they fought back to win a nail biter to close day 3. This one would come down to the final day and it started off with a thriller as Charles and Jason battled to a draw. Doe would hand Hobgoblins their third consecutive loss to end the season with a win in the second match of the day. Tony and Mark would add wins to close the day and earn valuable points for the title race but this one ends with Double D a winner, 11-9.

Match 4: Eye of the Beerholder vs Bear Necessities
Eyes firmly own the title now, Necessities continued on their blistering pace and ended the match on day 3, again taking both matches and stretching the lead to 12. With the victory locked up, Necessities looked to add more on the final day to close ground in the title race. David would finally get the Beerholders on the board to open day 4. Paul would give Necessities two more points in the second match with a win over Randy. The race to save face was on for the Beerholders as Thomas took match 3 over Paraic. Mark would add a point for the Beerholders in a split of the final match with the scorching hot Carol but this one ends with Necessities winning 15-5. Will it be enough? We shall see.

I would like to thank my fellow Rum Raiders for a fun and rollicking ride in season 10.  David Bova Kian provided solid contributions in the anchor spot, Marcus cobrachicken was very dependable in the second mate position, and despite his early season prediction of doom and gloom, Ben SkyBlueBen had us in the thick of things up until we mailed it in AS A TEAM in the final week.  I'll fly the Jolly Roger one last time for the season (hoping Ben returns to TBC at some point, it is not the same without him):




As for the champion Hobgoblins, well done as a team but a big time huzzah to Dr. Mark IGolfBad for beating me to being on a championship team first.  Dr. it was no doubt your inspirational leadership that jelled your squad to victory.  Tell us again, how did you gather such a great squad...who organized this draft?  Seriously tho, congrats to you, Tony runkibus, Stevie ss11 and of course Charlie deathstar for a winning campaign.

Always enjoy being a Raider Art and it was great to end my stint in TBC under your leadership. I fell to pieces a couple of weeks sadly but I'm mainly blaming a lack of game time/practice. Been having a bash at EA's offering lately as it won't destroy my 2K23 swing now I'm not competing here.

Got a busy run up to Christmas, family (special celebrations and my third grandchild due next month, one that will carry on the Tough family name, and the usual carer responsibilities) and of course a bit of travelling around watching football to cram in so I'm best stepping aside for at least one season. 

Sure I'll miss the fun and frolics on here and probably won't want to wait for a new 2K golf game before I get myself on the waiting list again.

Onward my friend, TBC is in very, very good hands.

Thanks for the season fellow Boozers Tomi Tombanator, Sean prowse00, Marc Crazy Croc! I for one had a very enjoyable first season, very fun this! We did start with a win and finish with a win, faced some deep waters in between with a bunch of losses and a draw, also One For The Road saved us from utter disaster a couple of times. Hope to see my countryman Tomi back some day with new spark, kiitos! Looking forward to a new season already, bring it on!

• We will be requiring everyone to submit ALL SCORECARDS for ALL TBC rounds.  The reason for this is starting this season the better ball round (which had been a fixture in round 3 of TBC each week) will rotate weekly between rounds 1, 2 and 3.  This will allow better ball to be competed with different pairs of teammates each week instead of the same pair every week.  Variety is the spice, right?  All scorecard reporting is the responsibility of the player.  SMERF cards will be accepted provided they are accompanied by a screen shot of the tournament summary screen for verification.  Scores must be reported either on the TBC forum thread or in the TBC Discord channel for Scores-Scorecards.

• Another change will be in the scoring for each team match.  Before if your team won the weekly match you only received the points you won.  To further incentivize winning the weekly Pub Crawl, the winning team will receive 3 additional points.  In the case of a draw, each team will receive 1 additional point.  One For The Road (OFTR) will still be scored the same and still provide the same boost in the standings, but now winning the Crawl means a bit more.  The additional points will show in the Team standings tab on the spreadsheet.

• Everything else remains the same.  We will still have the midweek requirement of reporting your scores by the cut time on TGCTours.  If an extension is needed please PM myself or Nigel (Wutpa) and we will handle the request.  Advance notice if a substitute is needed would be best.  We have subs but they may not play unless they are notified.

Each team is responsible for notifying myself and/or Nigel of Team Name and Captain as soon as possible.  This can be done via PM or on the thread.  Remember the Captain is powerless and merely eye candy, unless you choose to worship your leader.

• Everything else remains the same.  We will still have the midweek requirement of reporting your scores by the cut time on TGCTours.  If an extension is needed please PM myself or Nigel (Wutpa ) and we will handle the request.  Advance notice if a substitute is needed would be best.  We have subs but they may not play unless they are notified.

Each team is responsible for notifying myself and/or Nigel of Team Name and Captain as soon as possible.  This can be done via PM or on the thread.  Remember the Captain is powerless and merely eye candy, unless you choose to worship your leader.

Ahoy and beware, for it is I, Art Stinkin' Vandelay once again hoisting the Jolly Roger and leading the Rum Raiders into battle in TBC S11.  

We went Down Under to get Jason crushtastic who will start all of our plunders.  

We went to Deepest Darkest to get Marc Crazy Croc who will be ferociously firing the cannons off the port AND starboard.  

We went to Scotland where English is barely spoken to grab David Bova Kian who will clean up all the nasty things that happen in Tier 4 (I think the Scots told us to find him in Yorkshire, pudding maybe?).  

All this happened from suburban Arizona where I, Captain of all things Raider and Rum, sit in my cushy chair and will chuckle my best Pirate laugh all season long.
