Bloody Mary Winner
Congratulations to Doe Coba winning on CB against Marcus Clowers in the final of the Bloody Mary Cup. Enjoy  I just had a look at the scorecards for that final against Marcus cobrachicken . What a great match, where we took turns on having momentum. Marcus started out strongly to win the first hole. Momentum was swinging my way with birdies on 4, 5 and 6 but when Marcus took the 9th hole it was a one hole difference at the turn. Continuing to win hole 10, Marcus quickly evened things out. 11, 12 and 13 were tied but on 14th I messed up and Marcus stayed solid, so that gave Marcus a 1 hole lead. I feel like I stole hole 16 to tie things up again, and with both of us finishing off birdie, birdie on the last two holes, I got victory only because of count back - dispite Marcus shooting one better in stroke. Too bad we couldn't have settled that in a play off Marcus. Thanks for a close good final. Very well played and congratulations! It would of been a fun match to watch! |

While it was frustrating to have made a handful of mistakes, I'm delighted to have shot a respectable score. I actually can't remember when that last happened.

S10, W7: RoW @ Zach, Blank FrogNice course again, enjoyed it. It was a good mixture of "hold my beer, I'm going for the green" holes, and "phone my therapist, I'm going to the pub" holes. I feel like I should have done better in R3, as the conditions were benign, but I added a few shots to our BB total OldManGaming606. R4, however, was a very different animal and I really struggled. There's definitely some room for Violinguy69 to smack me down in our match play game. So that's the pub crawl done for another amazing and fun season, with just the OFTR to come. Go Fireballers!

Art Vandelay WutpaBova's attempt to help in R3, was okay except for final five holes where big fasts and slows cropped up which basically left me fighting to save par on each hole.
