Bloody Mary Winner
Congratulations to Doe Coba winning on CB against Marcus Clowers in the final of the Bloody Mary Cup. Enjoy I just had a look at the scorecards for that final against Marcus cobrachicken . What a great match, where we took turns on having momentum. Marcus started out strongly to win the first hole. Momentum was swinging my way with birdies on 4, 5 and 6 but when Marcus took the 9th hole it was a one hole difference at the turn. Continuing to win hole 10, Marcus quickly evened things out. 11, 12 and 13 were tied but on 14th I messed up and Marcus stayed solid, so that gave Marcus a 1 hole lead. I feel like I stole hole 16 to tie things up again, and with both of us finishing off birdie, birdie on the last two holes, I got victory only because of count back - dispite Marcus shooting one better in stroke. Too bad we couldn't have settled that in a play off Marcus. Thanks for a close good final. |

Art Vandelay & WutpaSeason 10 Week 7 Americas Summery Messed up 4 short puts where the break fooled me - on that narrow green on the par 3 it fooled me twice from 7-8 feet for a three put. Still enjoyd my best score of the season so all was good. Second round my short puts kept being messed up and I had two more three puts (interesting that I three putted the same par 3 from the same short distances  ). So round two was a much more " normal" score for me. I hope my plaing partners fra Double D can work with it. Our Double D teman will keep on fighting till the end so we can stay away from last spot  Good luck team mates.

Art Vandelay Wutpa Good Ol' USA Tour - me and this course have never seen eye to eye over the many occasions we have met each other .. Round 1 / -8  Round 2 / -11  Honestly, those scores shock me .. I feel like I didn't deserve those scores as I was really poor on the Par 5's ... but will they be enough to gain any points this week ... we can only hope. but unlikely

S10, W7: Americas @ Creosote LaundererLovely course, all sweet and scary, enjoyed it a lot. Also sweet and scary are some of the scores that people have been posting here. A few holes in and I could see why though, because in R1 at least that was a beneficial set of tees, and the greens played true. However my approach shots were not on point, and I just wasn't firing on all cylinders to take advantage of those R1 conditions. I managed -13, which is pleasing, but there were plenty of missed opportunities to bring home a score that would have been just stupidly good. R2, longer tees, faster greens, my expectations were lower than R1. And yet I scored better. Pink is the colour I am tickled, frankly. Somehow I made it to Elite this week, and I'm almost tempted to play my inaugural rounds while I'm nicely warmed up. Almost. Maybe. Nah.
