Lifelong Pats fan here and I am leaning towards the Tom/Bill show for the past 20 years was more that Tom is definitely the GOAT whereas Bill had himself a great QB to work with. Cam Newton is a joke. Glad he only got a one year contract.

I have been saying for 10-12 years now that Brady made Belichick looked amazing. People want to always praise Belichick and his system, well guess what Bill's system has him reeling at 2-4 and Brady in his new situation is 5-2 and poised at another playoff run. Belichick struggled as Cleveland head coach before becoming the New England coach, so its not as if he has always been a prominent head coach.
Brady has the clutch gene and Bill was simply riding those coattails. Brady is the undisputed GOAT in the entire history of NFL, but there are several coaches I'd put ahead of Bill. Tom Landry, Lombardi, Don Shula and Chuck Noll all rank ahead of Belichick in my opinion, so Bill would be 5th.

To add onto that in 2000 Belichick went 5-11 in his 1st season as Patriots coach. 2001 Brady takes over for Bledsoe in week 2, leads the team to 11-5 and wins the 1st super bowl in the dynasty. If that's not exhibit A of Belichick's overrated prowess and Brady's GOAT status i don't know what is

Too early to tell. It’s an odd season to try to evaluate anything. Some guys opted out, teams having interrupted practice schedules, no preseason games to get into game shape.
This whole season is a mulligan, college and pro.
But ...... Fly Eagles Fly! First place in a crappy division is still better than last place in a great division!

I think its too early to tell.
My personal opinion is that I think Bill is in the running for the GOAT coach and Tom is about the 5th or so best QB.
if you look at the records right now, you have to take into consideration that Tom has a loaded cast with him. He has history with his fail safe of Gronk, he was able to study things in the offseason and has 7 games under his belt. Cam on the other hand was very last minute, had much less time to prepare, and has 2 less games played. Cam is currently 2-3 in his first five games this season and Tom was 3-2 in his first five.
Not saying Cam is better than Tom, I'm just saying Cam is not a joke, he's had less time to prepare, and does not have as good a supporting cast.
I'll wait till the end of the season to see for sure, maybe even next season.

And Tom is now getting Antonio Brown. A rusty Brown but still.

Belichick won two super bowls as defensive coordinator - once even getting the shoulder-ride from the field after the game ended. I don't know how you can flat-out dismiss the number of titles that he's won. He was the head coach of the greatest dynasty in NFL history (considering free agency and salary cap).

Belichick struggled as Cleveland head coach before becoming the New England coach, so its not as if he has always been a prominent head coach. Belichick inherited a 3-13 Browns team with the aging Bernie Kosar at QB. They improved to 6-10 then 7-9, 7-9 and then, in 1994, 11-5 and won a playoff game. The 1995 season was played to a mostly empty stadium after it was announced that the Browns would be moving to Baltimore to become the Ravens. Belichick was fired as coach after the 1995 season. The Ravens went 4-12 the next year, followed by 6-9-1 and 6-10 and then 8-8.

Billy B is the GOAT coach, but you have to remember the number of defensive starters that opted out. The defense has carried that team in recent years partially because the offense has no weapons.

Yeah I have Bill as a top 3 all time coach, but he is nowhere near a top GM in the league. They had a lot of success with free agents, partly because guys wanted to come play with Tom, but their drafting has been weak most of the time since Pioli left

After today's fiasco, the Pats should cut ties with Newton and play Stidham the rest of the way and hope for a top ten in the draft.

I swear Carson Wentz thinks he’s Brett Favre. Touchdowns and turnovers, then somehow win the game.

If Belichek became available to coach your favorite team, would you want him?

Steelers are for real but so are the Ravens. That was a good game. KC is my pick for the SB win again this year. Their QB just does things with the ball that have not been seen. I can't imagine what some of his receivers think of his "was that a pass" passes.

Tom Brady is really on board with Antonio Brown.
So much that he has reportedly invited him into his home.
According to Jay Glazer of Fox Sports, Brown has been living in Brady’s Tampa home as he prepares to join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on the field. Glazer also reports that Brown joined the Bucs in game shape and will be on the field in three-receiver sets for his Week 9 debut against New Orleans Saints.
