Not sure if the other thread is meant to be a Golden Cow only thread or not, so I'll start this one just in case.
So I am guessing that I am going to have the opposite opinion of most. I enjoyed every round in the setups we had, but I wish R2 wasn't so tame.
I am guessing that a -5/-7 for -12 halfway through is going to come up short of the cut if how I've played so far this season is an indicator. But maybe I can get my first top 90 this week? LOL
Went ahead after a break and pressed on to the tune of -5/-7/-1/-5 for a total of -18. This course and setup (outside of R2) is a mental challenge much more so than any of the other setups we've had so far this season, IMO.
Have fun on the 10th hole all week , everyone. IIRC, over four rounds I had a four putt double, a precision approach shot birdie, an utterly silly scrambling chip in par, and a just regular-ish par to go +1 for the week on the hole.
While I'll never be a good putter for this level of play, I am making putting progress over the last two weeks with some minor adjustments I have made.

In the same boat. That second round is definitely the one to inflate a score. Early on so it is hard to make comparisons to earlier tournaments from this season, but -14 has made the cut in the previous three events this season. Crossing my fingers for ya!

On the lookout for a potential 49 this week, par 69 course allows it to be possible. Would be only the second ever in tgct.

Game of two halves for me - very solid pre cut, rounds of -10 and -8, then utter rubbish after it, a pair of -3s.
-24 in total

Struggled with my tempo and an ice-cold putter in the first round and only managed to go below par due to an extremely lucky albatross with DOTD on the second par 5: -4 (yes, that's including the albatross... ) Second round I played better tee to green but putter still behaving like an ice queen.. -7 -11 halfway ( up mup kupen nup) and my first missed cut... or could there be enough people struggling like me... nah, false hope... Enjoyed the course and conditions, despite my struggles; +1 for the scheduler again!! Good luck all, Frans

I made a suggestion and the scheduler finally listened. The cows grazing in the pastures as a backdrop was just what was needed. I got so enamored by them that I mistakenly fired one OB on the fourth like a home run over the fence and just about killed one. We still need more cow. I like the direction that bspetty is taking us though.

Played this course a couple of times during last week and played well on it. Loaded this up thinking I’d do okay and couldn’t do anything right. Way to many poor shots. Missed cut this week. Played crap. No excuses. Play well all.

I think I am one of very few who played so far that expects to make the cut
Not sure if I played well or just got an OK early score in before the better players tee off
