9:15am ET Tuesday Update 88 Players have started the tournament 69 Players have completed round 2 60 Players yet to tee off (based on 148 currently being on Kinetic Tour)
Average Round 1 score = 67.4 Average Round 2 score = 68.3
We're seeing round 1 play nearly a stroke easier than round 2. For my cut line projection I tried to tweak the formula a bit to account for the fact that some players will never tee off. The last 2 tournaments averaged 125 players completing their rounds. So instead of assigning the average scores to all those that have not started, I capped it at 125 participants. We'll see if that helps.
I have the projected cut line right now at -8 or better. Obviously this can change as more people play.

Victor Lane leaves Mystic Links bummed, as once again he is likely to miss a cut. After starting the year 2/2, it's possible he'll now be 2/4. The course was fantastic, very enjoyable to play, so he went ahead and played the weekend rounds, although his performance there was nothing desirable either. -5, -2, -2, +1 for a -8 tournament finish... OUCH! Hoping the -7s make the cut so I at least avoid a demo mark and stay clean. Great course selections thus far hmammoth, keep it up mate.

I made some putts, I missed some putts, parred the par five #1 with stupid play, all in all a decent -7 round that could have been maybe three strokes better. Tomorrow is another day

A nasty R1 double set me at -5 so i had to step up in R2. I couldn't hit a straight drive so i had to aim right and play a red fast. I scrambled my ass off and made miraculous pars and some timely birdies. Made 4 birds in the last 5 holes and sit at -13 for both rounds.

9:15am ET Wednesday Update 106 Players have started the tournament 97 Players have completed round 2 42 Players yet to tee off (based on 148 currently being on Kinetic Tour)
Average Round 1 score = 67.5 Average Round 2 score = 68.5
We're still seeing round 1 play nearly a stroke easier than round 2. Average scores have actually moved slightly higher than they were yesterday. Cut line is still projected at -8 or better but -7 is definitely in the hunt to be good enough.

I have been playing some $hitty rounds today! I barely managed an even par round three in the Dirtbags, and then dragged my a$$ around Mystic, even at the turn and luckily getting three birdies to finish -3 for the round and -10 waiting for the cut-line. Hope thi0711's predictions are correct about the cut line score đ°

Uh, -10 is fine. But you jumping over the -7s hurts me. Haha

I was only kidding man, I'm happy for those of you that made the cut. Unfortunately I needed one less stroke, as I figured would happen, so that 4-putt in R2 will haunt me for a while.

Finished up my rounds, bogey free -9 in R3 followed up with a -3 in R4 with a few crap approach shots resulting in bogies. Total of -21 which probably wonât be good enough for a promo mark. Did end up going into the Zodiac again after I finished and bumped into Mystic Meg, had this conversation with her: Chris, would you like me to read your future. The tarot cards never lie.Er sure, why not. Oh dear, its the âTres Hombresâ card. What does that mean? I just see 3 guys, 2 of them have long beards. Itâs a sign that youâll be playing as if you were in CC-ZZ Top next week.....Let me sing you one of their songs.Ok Playing on a course called CobbtownItâs the one that really gets you down, when you bogey You do the Omaha Steak BogeyWell now, bogey, little babyBogey-Wogey all round longYouâre dressed like a fool up on the tee blockLooking kinda funky with your plus fours and black socks, when you bogeyYou do the Omaha Steak BogeyWell now, bogey-wogey babyBogey-wogey all round longApproach shot on a hole that plays up the hillYou wonât make it but your partner will, when you bogeyYou do the Omaha Steak BogeyWell now, bogey little babyBogey-wogey all round longYouâll blow your top, blow your top, blow your top!Are you having me on? Did Mammoth put you up to this as Iâm a designer? No, the next card has a cat on it. This is reference to Cat Stevens song âThe first cut is the deepestâIâve had enough of this, goodbye Meg Donât me mad Chris, I only interpret the cards.......if you see Andre and Victor, tell them I saw their future. It showed a bald man formerly of Genesis singing âI missed (the cut) againâ

Oh that was painful!!! I started round three with two birdies, then screwed up my second shot on the par 5 #4 and wound up stuck on a 60° downhill/sidehill slope over the water on the right. I should have taken an unplayable but I am too smart for that, tried to hit it up the slope and wound up in the water. Some farting around got me a lovely triple. A three putt bogey on #7, and on the back nine a wet and wild triple on the short par four #16 followed by a par on the par five #16 and I finished up at a dy-no-mite +1 for the round. Now to try and avoid demo marks in round four.

Missing the cut sucks. And playing meaningless rounds sucks. Need to remember to not play like an idiot next week.

Man am I glad this week is over! Six birdies, five pars, and 7 bogeys for another pitiful +1. This is a beautifully done course, kudos to Rob Ball, but the more I played it the less I enjoyed playing it. If it shows up on tour again I will probably skip that week.
