You know, people approach me all the time and say "Dan, your so good looking, so intelligent and funny but not just that, you are cool and collected, calm and serene. You have to deal with those designers types, you have the admins trying to screw over your tour, you have ungrateful players and yet you are so relaxed, zen like. How do you control your anger? How to you stay so calm in the face of adversity?" I tell them, " when I needed to refresh my inner peace, I go play Mystic Links". " Mystic Links" they reply, " whats that". Had the early tee time this week, saw that everyones a winner so got pumped up listening to some Hot Chocolate during warm up And then what happens, oh yes, the grass that never has to be cut kept leaving my putts on the front 9 a foot short. Managed a bit better on the back 9 to end up at -7. On to round 2, same thing, couldn’t make a putt on the front 9. Winds up a bit and some tough pins makes it hard to get close. Whatever happened for bogeys not being allowed? picked up 3 or 4 and had a 4 putt bogey on the driveable par 4. So much for zen and self restraint, putter nearly ended up in the ocean. Finished that round at -2. No idea if -9 makes the cut, I’m off to the Zodiac room to see if Russell Grant can predict if I’ll make the weekend and have a flavourless beverage, special of the day is Mystic Whine, fermented from the tears of golfers who came with the promise of relaxation, birdies and perfect tempo. Enjoyed the course nonetheless

decent 3rd round of -9 followed by a dreadful last round of -3... seemed to be plagued by slow downswings in round 4 one of which resulted in a waterball and a double bogey. But I'm getting better especially as I only play the game on Sundays for my tgctours rounds. -27 total

I think I dialed the wrong department, answer phone message said "Do or do not, there is no try". Sound advice though and should help me with my weekend rounds.

After a missed cut last week I did what I almost never do... played a practice round at the next course. It was my first time seeing Mystic Links, so hopefully a little course knowledge will help this week. I really enjoyed the course and would like to play it all 4 rounds. My tee time is around 4:30pm ET on Monday on my stream. Let’s go!

A great -8 in round 1 even with a bogey. Wheels kind of came off in 2nd round. Way too many putts. I thought the greens were rolling a little faster and most of my first putts went a good 5 or 6 feet passed.
Hit a wonderful drive on 16 that reached the green and rolled up to about 8 feet. Rolled the eagle putt 6 feet by then missed the putt back and took a bad par. Finished round 2 at -3 for a 2 round score of -11. Afraid that might get my first missed cut.

-13 in round 1.....round 2....shoots 11 on 1 hole!
just about sums my game up at the moment.

Solid rounds of -8 -8 for my first Kinetic event. Awful quad on the par 3 13th round 2 trying to take the flag on and making 2 fast swings in the ocean, probably cost me a chance of going for the win! 🙈
Will play the final 2 rounds later on in the week. Good luck to everyone this week 👊🏻

Heading out to the course in about 15 minutes on my stream, hoping to avenge the missed cut from last week.

Two down arrows for me. There were more squares on my card than at a computer science convention
