Sorry if this is a dumb question but I’m not really getting my head around it. On the tour settings if your club choice full shot goes 170 yards and you pull the marker back to 160 and then take a full shot as in bring the club right back as normal should in theory it go 160 yards if the shot was played perfect? I understand wind and lie etc but if all conditions were normal is this correct? Same with those 7 yard pitches and pull it back to 5 and hit full? It seems this is the case and yet sometimes the ball goes a lot further than expected. All distance control assists are off so if you pull back at the top of the swing it's going to go 100 + percent. It slows the swing down though so if you play it at your normal tempo speed it should in theory go the desired distance. What has helped me significantly that I've added to my arsenal that I've used the past week that I don't think enough people utilize is the clubs with the most distance control. My entire bag is setup with clubs with the most distance control other than My Driver, 3W and 3I for distance purposes. I rarely ever use a full 100 percent shot anymore and didn't realize it alleviated alot of the tempo issues us xbox players have by using mostly partial shots as the misses are usually only barely grey fast and grey slow but I'm hitting 85 percent perfects with these clubs, at least for me. I've never played for the red fasts but have recently started only playing a fast for my drives. If anyone is curious this is my bag setup: Driver- Personal preference 3W- Bridgestone Tour BJGR (248) 3H- Callaway Maverick Max (222) 3I- HB Enterprise XDZ (201) 5H- HB Classic F01 (186) 6I- Ben Hogan PTx Pro (174) 7I- Ben Hogan PTx Pro (164) 8I- Ben Hogan PTx Pro (155) 9I- Ben Hogan PTx Pro (145) PW- TGC IV Guru RH3 (128) GW- TGC IV Guru RH3 (115) SW- TGC IV Guru RH3 (101) LW- TGC IV Guru RH3 (88)

I had the rollout distance on and forgot to turn it off as I was toying with that new hybrid I put in my bag.

I don't know what that is. I bought the game and set it up based on the TGCtours settings and that's the only way I play. For a pitch if I move the aiming marker back it is really difficult to swing way past that distance. This is always a problem for me if I think I have a full pitch selected and didn't notice my caddie recommended something shorter. My only problem is when there is a 22 ft shot the caddie recommends a 52 pitch shot as there is elevation factoring and most times I go way past the flag. I will then whimp out and go to a 19 ft splash on the next scenario ....I guess I have to work more of that shot on the range to get a better feel of partials with the 52 ft pitch because at times with higher elevations the splash barely gets over the top or stops at the top so the caddie was correct as the caddie gave me a better loft with thst 52 ft club choice. And I never used it when the greens were rolling away from the pin as I knew if I screwed up it was long gone.
