Discover the hidden gem of the southwest-TPC Painted Rose. The course sits just off a county road in the desert southwest. The Rose (affectionately referred to by the locals in the nearby town of Rabbit Jump) offers 3 sets of tees from the white at 6466yds to the blue at 6932yds. The undulating fairways are wide and forgiving, but be mindful of the bunkers, they could pose issues if it becomes somewhat breezey. Spacious greens are bordered, in most cases, by large bunkers that could play into your round if not careful. The design of this desert course draws its inspiration from the natural lay of the land. The surroundings may be a bit arid, but you will find a wonderful oasis waiting. Come out and play a round or two at The Rose... you'll find me there or over with my friends at Driven by Design!
Playing from the blue tees

Hole 5 is a 336yd par 4 that is drivable and has been known to produce that elusive ace! But be careful... she will run.

Hole 7 is a 262yd par 4 with a little natural area in front of the right side of the green.
Hole 8 is a 130yd par 3 with a bunker on the left side of the approach and a greenside bunker on the right front. Be careful of the pond behind the green.
Hole 9 is a lengthy 615yd par 5 with 3 bunkers to the right and center of the fairway. The second shot approach sees a bunker to the right. The green drops slightly and is guarded by a bunker on the front left.
Hole 10 is a 307yd par 4 with a bunker to the front right of the green.
Hole 11 is a 474yd par 4 bunker to the left and a natural area to the right of the tee shot. Two bunkers on the left of the fairway and two on the right side by the green make for an interesting next shot.
Hole 12 is a 228yd par 3 with the green being slightly elevated and bunkers at both front and back.
Hole 13 is a 489yd par 4 with a large bunker in The center of the fairway. The second shot sees a green with bu kers behind and to the right and left.
Hole 14 is a 534yd slight dogleg to the right and is split by a dry creek. Drive to the edge of the right fairway for your second shot guarded by a large bunkerto the front of the green.
Hole 15 is a short 309yd par 3 with a slight dogleg to the left, with bunkers to the right and left of the green. If the wind is blowing right, you can just make the green setting up a good chance for eagle.
Hole 16 is a 453yd par 4 with an elevated green. The tee shot sees two bunkers in the center right that shouldn't come into play. The green is wide open with no bunkers.
Hole 17 is a lengthy 634yd par 5 that sees a small natural area that shouldn't come into play. The second shot to the green, about 290yds if you are feeling brave, has you contending with a large bunker on the left and a deeper bunker on the right. Better option here may be to layup and pitch the green.
Hole 18 is a 229yd par 3. The Rose's signature hole. The green sees deep bunkers to the right and a pond bordering the green to the left. The clubhouse and the 19th are just a little walk up the hill!
