Always wondered how one gets permanently banned. Even the API pull meant you could play next week. Heck complaining about conditions is fair game. As long as you don’t post personal attacks - but even that is a forum ban - temporarily too. 🤔 🤷🏼♂️

Round 3: -5 (started with 13 pars; guess I should have warmed up... ) Round 4: -11 (was -11 after 12 holes, I think, but managed to squeeze in two bogeys) Total for the week: -33 ( up mup kupen nup) I enjoyed the course and the conditions, so that's another point for the scheduler... Best wishes Frans

Saw some stuff knocking schedulers.

Good morning, it seems that I do not want to make my first cut here in Platinum. Yesterday, I would have started with a nice bogey free -8 in round 1, hadn't I decided to intersperse (I looked that up in a dictionary) a quad bogey on the risk-reward hole 6. I went into the sand off the tee and then pulled off the exact same slow downswing twice to find the exact same spot in the water twice. So, -4 instead of -8 in round 1. In round two, I shot more of the same, except that I really managed to stay bogey free this time. Thus, I am sitting at -12 after two, which looks like another missed cut by one stroke. Fortunately, though, there's still the Cow Hunt. I'm sure, with all my missed cuts, you start to understand why I created that 4-round side competition, right? In the remaining two rounds, I couldn't quite keep the pace, throwing in bogeys (and a double in round 3) every now and then. Still, I managed to add unspectactularly satisfying rounds of -7 and -6 to finish just one shot ahead of rob4590 . We'll see what happens next week to prevent me from making the cut. Stay tuned. Good luck and have fun!

There's no way the cut will be -13? Haha, I usually sit there rolling my eyes while scrolling through the forum and reading all these super conservative and prudent cut line estimates. Like “I’m currently tied for 5th, but I honestly don’t know if my -20 is going to make the cut.” Thus, it’s kind of funny to get caught myself in some sense. However, my estimate is based on the following: last week, I missed the cut by one stroke, and I am currently sitting at around the same position I’ve been in last week. So, I assume it might at least be a close one.

You know I don’t b%& about courses much but this course was the most boring course I’ve played on this game. There’s so many good courses out there that deserve a spot and this one is not it. Red slopes on almost every pin on day 4. The course looked like dog sh%$ looks like everything was auto generated planting just a blah course. By the way I shot -27 for the tournament so I’m not just b%&ing cause I played bad No, you're just b%&ing because you've asked a bunch of people other than me to put your course on Platinum. Which one did you have in mind? Let's put her out on full display. Go ahead and give me some recommended settings too so I can ignore them.

Bleh. On cut watch again despite a very nice -9 on the opening round. Three bogeys might well cost me the cut. A bunker shot left just on the fringe at #4, had the putt for par hit the hole and stick but not go down. Put the ball past the flag on #9 due to a fast swing on approach and couldn't keep the putt on the green. Hit the lip on a par attempt again. The bogey on 16 was a good bogey - red slow off the tee into the creek, drop in the middle of scrub but get up and down. Birdied 17 and 18 to have an outside chance at the weekend.
Pretty disappointing after such a good start, but that's the way the game goes. I barely missed chip ins on 5, 6 and 15 as well. However, had my approach game been on, I wouldn't have needed those. Kind of funny that I was 6 shots better in R1 with 50% Fairways than the 100% Fairways in R2... Moral of the story - approach game > tee game.

I vote for no weather report on Platinum. I could go along with it. I sort of stopped looking months ago. The simulated conditions never seem to make sense. Let's go with soft fairways and very firm greens... right, because after a soaking rain the night before, the greens don't soften too? Guess the designers have sub-air systems in all their courses. Then the next day somehow the greens softened and are rolling at 144 but the fairways firmed up?

On cut watch again despite a very nice -9 on the opening round. [...] Kind of funny that I was 6 shots better in R1 I like these math exercises (no irony). I deduced a -3 in round two.

Lol, I like to mow the fairways toward the tees when it starts to firm up so you're hitting into the grain, helps reduce rollout.

Pretty good course, I found the fairways tricky to hit and hitting runups to the many of the greens was nearly impossible. It was a good test, though. The par 5s were really well done, the angles from the tee made them tricky. Nice to see.
9,9,6,9 -33 with chipins everywhere. Happy to be back on track after a missed cut last week.

Just to be fair, this isn't directed at this season - just in general. I think we overthink some of the weather conditions sometimes... versus keeping it simple. Adjust the wind, the direction, maybe make R4 play firmer and faster than default... but KISS! (keep it simple stupid)
