IMO, it was an interesting concept, but not something you'd see in a professional tour. It's rare, but not unheard of.

I just missed out on another cut in CC-E, that twice I've missed out by one stroke. Although I've still to make a cut this season I'm enjoying the season so far as the cut does give mid-table players something to play for. I'll probably get a practice round of next week's course in tonight and work on taking one or two strokes of my score.

Did anyone get caught out in round two by the quirky green change on hole 15? Really enjoyed that, great design....never seen anything like it before. This is why you play practice rounds, eh? IMO, it was an interesting concept, but not something you'd see in a professional tour. Fair point. I have limited time to get as much practice as I'd like but on the occasions I do I tend to play pin 1, if I have a good round, I might get to practice pin 2. If i have a shocker on pin 1 I tend to just play pin 1 again. On last weeks course I had two practice rounds on pin 1, +3 and +1 (or evens). Thankfully I shot -3 and -6 (r1 & 2 respectively). I seldom practice pin 3 and 4

Random tempo variation in round 4 cost me here. I never get very fast swings in this game let alone 3 in a row on the same hole. Completely ruined my tournament as I was leading at the time on PC. Wound up with a Quad on the hole and a 5-6 shot swing as it happened on a very easy par 5 on the back 9 sitting @ 30 under at the time with the easiest stretch ahead of me. Not impressed. Shanked my drive on the next hole and carded another bogie to drop to -25. A total of 5 shots lost in 2 holes I backed out of the game with 4 to go and relaunched and salvaged a 2 under by going birdie/birdie/eagle to finish 66/58/65/ 70-29 See..I was so frazzled when this happened that I forgot the hole..and what happened afterwards. I did finish birdie birdie eagle...but the implosion hole was #9
