CC-A
Been a while since I've played TGCTours. Used to play back in TGC1 days consistently, won a couple CC-equivalent tournaments and eventually stopped playing. So much fun to pick the game back up again and put some hours into figuring it out.
I didn't necessarily find the fairway consistently (54% of the time - best for T53 on PC as of now), but I could still find the greens (72%- T5 on PC right now).
Shot -9 and -7 to start, which I felt decent about. But absolutely caught fire today with my last two rounds, shooting -11 / -11 for a total of -38.
Found the Back 9 to be a lot easier -- I think I shot 29 in round 3 and 28 in round 4 while I think I usually shot a 33 or so on the front. Tale of two nines each round.

(CC-B)
After finishing 54th in week 1 and 12th in week 2, I felt hopeful and confident going into this comp. A practice round of even par did little to suggest I was going to tear it up this week and despite comments of benign greens and easy-ish fairways I really struggled at this course. I guess some courses suit the eye and others don't.
An opening round of -3 certainly put doubts in my mind for a 3rd consecutive cut as I struggled to make birdies in the tough wind. A bogey free -6 in round 2 however boosted my confidence and hopefully -9 will be enough to make the cut.
Kudos to all those who are tearing it up!
I'll be delighted if I make top 25.
Good luck to all.

My first two rounds of +1 and -2 in CC-E sees me hanging around the right side of the cut line, hopefully I'll stay there to make my first cut of the season.
I had a look at my stats and the only difference in the scoring was a triple bogey on the first round as I bagged 4 birdies and 2 bogies on each round. I hit 27 putts on each round and my FIR's improved from 50% to 57.1% although my GIR's dipped from 66.7% to 61.1%.

CC-B
Missing the cut this week on a lackluster performance. Nothing against the course but it just didn't fit my game. I suppose my time typically spent playing the last two round will be spent in the designer... Better luck next week !

All went wrong this week. Promotion to CC-B, had a practice round and shot -9, then choked on the big one in the main event and went -2, -2. Needed a bird on 36th hole to get to -7 and maybe just scrape in but found those bloody bunkers on the right side of the fairway after deliberately attempting a fast swing....of course it faded....ended up a double bogey. Anyway, shot -11 combined in the last 2 rounds when the pressure was off. What annoys me most is I played the Kinetic tour tourney last night just for 5hits and giggles after a few beers and half a bottle of red wine and I'm sitting -26 after 3 rounds of speed golfing. It's messing with my head this bloody game.

Did anyone get caught out in round two by the quirky green change on hole 15? Really enjoyed that, great design....never seen anything like it before.

Almost, but I looked for the distance marker and found it before teeing off, which I usually do anyway if it's not visible straight away, to see where best to try to hit it. Ended up using a 3 wood to lay up short of it. The ghost I was playing with didn't though, and hit a driver about 100 metres left of it going towards the other green π

I had two practice rounds on pin 1, then my first round of the comp...in R2 i was on auto pilot and blazed it towards the other green. I was so confused and thought it was a glitch that would ruin my already average round. It's a fantastic concept, never seen it before.

Was looking good for 2 promos this week but now I'll be happy if I get even one, after a horrid final round.
Took a triple on the 4th after getting wet twice from the tee. Promptly fired the caddie. That was followed by no less than 12 straight pars. XB tempo was acting a bit iffy and nothing was going in with the putter. I thought I might be on course for my first over par round in a long time in this game.....thankfully I managed to finish birdie/eagle (pitched in) for a -1 round.
At least this week ended on a high note. Happy to move on though. Only my personal feeling, but was never really a fan of the courses general aesthetic.

Might have been haha, he was a fellow Aussie and didn't look like he'd figured out the effects of wind and elevation yet either. I think he hit a few over par both rounds I put him in my game.
