Tasoto Golf Club by mjhamilton113Welcome to week 5! Time for a visually appealing course that puts the premium on tee shots. Get it in the fairway and you should find the greens pretty benign. We've decided to use the stretched out tournament tees, but are up a tee in round 2 at the designer's recommendation. Starts out fairly windy, then it'll be up to the game to see how much wind ya'll get in the last two rounds. Good Luck and Play Well!

Well, my first round stats:
46% FIR 47% GIR...
76% One-putts 88.9% Scrambling
5-under.
Could have been far worse. Could still have been better (Missed 2 short birdie putts, annoying misses)
Course looks beautiful and indeed, greens aren't too difficult.

My first event after a swift promotion to B.
-6 to start after an eagle to finish. The 18th really is a minimum birdie hole if ever there was one.
If the tees are up one in the 2nd round then I'm guessing that is going to have to be the heavy scoring round.
If you can put it in the fairway then this is certainly a very scorable course I would think.

Random tempo variation in round 4 cost me here. I never get very fast swings in this game let alone 3 in a row on the same hole. Completely ruined my tournament as I was leading at the time on PC. Wound up with a Quad on the hole and a 5-6 shot swing as it happened on a very easy par 5 on the back 9 sitting @ 30 under at the time with the easiest stretch ahead of me. Not impressed. Shanked my drive on the next hole and carded another bogie to drop to -25. A total of 5 shots lost in 2 holes
I backed out of the game with 4 to go and relaunched and salvaged a 2 under by going birdie/birdie/eagle to finish
66/58/65/70
-29

CC-A. Wasn’t doing anything exciting in round one in high winds until chip in eagle got me to -5, but a careless bogey on the par 5 18th left me at 68. Was quite surprised to see higher winds again round two, but frankly I was thinking a fast exit to this week’s event might be on the horizon. Then all of a sudden, two longish birdie putts went in on 1 and 2, and then three more birdies on the front to make the turn -5. I could do no wrong on the back 9 making 6 birdies and an eagle to finish off a with a 59 and my best tour round in seven seasons! Sitting at -17 at the halfway point. What a crazy, great game this is!

Played four practice rounds with mixed conditions/pins and was content with a best round of -8...jumped into the event and managed to put that to shame finishing -43 through four (60-61-63-61). Last week started off great for the first two rounds then the wheels fell off so it was nice being able to keep it together.
Enjoyed the overall look of the course with the vibrant colors/planting. Rather demanding off the tee at times with pretty simple greens - no complaints here

I finished R1 with 7% FIR. I literally only hit one fairway (and it was with the 3-wood on 16th). Somehow I managed to get away with a 69, but boy, that was... rough!

Beautiful course this week...tough but birdie opportunities are there. Struggled with tempo through round 1 and was up and down before finishing with a -2. Had a nice bogey free -9 round 2 to be at -11 for the cut. Hoping that makes it...there are some low scores coming in on CCA

Definitely gonna end up a few back no matter what I do in round 4. Played with your ghost in round 3 I think it was. You hit some excellent approach and recovery shots.

Yes, it is possible. Just befor starting your round, hit X to add player, it gives you the chance to pick among local player, ghost or live ghost

Oh crap, the first round was a rollercoaster! Had 8 birdies and 5 bogeys, just couldn't get used to the putts with apparently no break or slight break, just kept over-reading or smashing them through the break, some of them were for par!
The second round was better, though... bogey-free 65 in a much easier course setup but with high winds. I hope to make the cut at -10 on CCA, it's going to be close (I think).
My goal after round 1 was just to try and make the cut and not get one of my promotion marks erased. After the second round I started to play faster and surprisingly got a lot more perfects than the first two rounds. With harder conditions I shot -9 on those and finished with a decent but not great -19.
Good luck to you guys... Overall a so so week for me, fun course, scoreable but tricky!

Down in CC-J for me. Rd1 was about what I could have hoped for in the wind. Limped home +1
Hoped I'd got a better grasp on things in Rd2 and started steadily until I reached the 8th hole. Suddenly totally lost my swing. Played 5 off the tee on 8th and made a quad, then struggled to silly bogey on 9. +5 at the turn, not looking good. First 4 holes of Rd2 back nine and got the swing under control, then -4 for last 5 gives me a chance of making the cut this week, as another +1 has me at +2 after 36 holes.
The back nine of Rd2 shows me there are birdies to be had, just need to avoid the silly dropped shots, lol.

It would suck to miss the cut (I'm at -6 after 2 rounds in CC B) when my last round I shot a 64.
