Hi all, What is more important, keeping the swing plane straight or good tempo? The reason I ask is most of the time i cant do both at the same time (I maybe get 5-10 perfect perfect a round) If i focus on the swing plane and keep it straight my tempo goes out the window (both slow and fast) and if I focus on decent tempo my swing plane becomes a wannabe spagetti. P.S if you can give me some awsome tips it will be very appreciated, I have been using Xbox1 controller now for a week (was using a mouse before). Best regards,

Do you tend to get better results when your tempo is good but swing line all over? Or better when tempo is bad but straight swing line? Personally, I would say tempo is most important above all else but I've never really had issues swinging a straight-ish line. For improving the swing line I would suggest going to the driving range or doing practice swings looking straight at your controller as you swing to get a feel for what is straight down and back up. As far as tempo goes... not a clue on how to help you. I'm still trying to figure out how to improve on that as well, as I think a lot of people are in that same boat. I've played this game every day since launch and my consistency with tempo hasn't improved 1 bit. Good luck!

Swing with your eyes closed. You really can feel your swing that way.

It’s hard enough trying to keep that blue line between the pipes let alone moving your thumb the perfect speed. There is no secret either find a controller that works better with the game or wait for them to fix it. Cheers!!!!!

don't worry, once you get it figured out there will be a patch to change it again.

Perfect Tempo, bad plane = small miss Bad Tempo, good plane = big miss This is not the case with Master or Legend difficulty. I've had perfect tempo and a not so good swing plane and the ball will definitely go off track, way off track. It does also depend on the club being used.

What's the most common swing method? Do most people just use a thumb? I've found using a combo of index finger and thumb to be effective for swing plane.

I use index finger / thumb - the 'chess piece' method.. Seems to work pretty good for as straight as I can get it.. Tempo, of course, being the variable for how straight the shot actually goes where I'm aiming..

I used to be index finger and thumb chess piece style till this new game and I changed to thumb only and find it at least a little easier for me.
