Friendly course this week but very fast greens on the 1st round. I still managed to get a ball wet which is quit uneasy on this course...

Goal is just for a nice safe 4 rounds of golf this week. After making the cut last week I guess I have to expect at least that much out of myself. 1st round went according to plan as I didn’t make any serious mistakes. Was even par after nine holes with a birdie and a bogey offsetting each other. The back 9 started with 6 straight pars but then I went birdie, birdie, eagle on the last three holes to post a -4. Satisfying if totally unspectacular start. Course isn’t a total pushover but certainly has less danger than we saw last week.

My second round was different as I managed a decent 7 birdies but had a pair of bogeys that hurt. I’m going to guess that -9 should be enough to make the cut.

Generous course this week. Leaders shooting 60's though - amazing scoring. I'd be happy with 4 rounds of -4ish. Shows I'm making progress.

A fairly blah third round as I wasn’t hitting much close so my scoring opportunities were few and far between. Ended up +1 for the round which was probably better than I deserved.

Finished round 1. My accuracy of the tee was actually fairly decent and only found a bunker once or twice. Made a couple decent putts that I shouldn't have made and missed several I shouldn't have missed. That was the problem that cost me in the end as I made a decent 7 birdies but added a much less decent 4 bogeys to finish -3.
Thinking this might be my last week on Tour because I'd rather be rangering courses and most of the time I'm willing to play this game each week has been going to my four tournament rounds instead. May just drop to Beer League and play an event every now and then instead.

Hello fellow CC-Krs, I’ve just been promoted from L and looking forward to playing with you all for as long as it lasts 😄 I’ll be sitting this one out unfortunately as I’m on the new series X and the glitch is just making this course unplayable and don’t want to ruin my first outing in this circuit like that. Good luck to you all this week!

Played round 2 and it was a bit steadier but a bogey on 18 is always enough to ruin an otherwise decent round. 4 birdies and 2 bogeys to leave me -5 at the cut.

Started round 3 with back-to-back double bogeys on the way to a +7. It felt like everything I've learned the last few weeks was thrown out the window on this one. Up until now I've had a fast swing that 90% of the time starts right and then curves back left. In the first two rounds I played for this and was consistently hitting the fairway. In round 3 I think I had two tee shots that did this. Some started left and went further left. Some started right and went straight or further right. Once I even somehow managed to get a slow which I have no idea how I did it since I can't even figure out how to slow my shot down enough to get perfect. Basically my tee shot always went to wherever there was a bunker like it was magnetically drawn to it. Not an enjoyable round at all and just going straight into round 4 to get this done and over with.

Round 4 the ball went back to the consistency I had in rounds 1 and 2. Every tee shot fast and almost every one started right and came back left. Even with the higher winds I was hitting FIR's because I knew what the ball was going to do. 3 birdies and a single bogey to claw back to E for the week. That third round killed me both on the scoreboard and any desire I had left to keep playing with these settings.

I turned off shot analysis last week-end and I discovered a more relaxed way of playing, indeed. I do not play better of worse, but I feel less stress to correct my swing after a bad shot. I warmly recommend this to febrile players like me.
-3/-4 for -7 at the turn, I can't complain. I had two long and lucky birdie putts at the 9th, my talisman hole i guess.

I'm happy that was over. Didn't like the Sand Pit one bit. First cut missed I reckon. Regroup and start again next week. More consistency of strike required on Tee shots. I hit the ball fine with irons and wedges. Off to the range.

My first time in this new circuit and was a bit nervous after playing two bad rounds on the promotion event sitting at +6 through two but surprised myself and round one -3 and round two -8 so sitting at -11 through two and glad to of made the cut and hope the good rounds can continue but at the moment I’m struggling to find consistency but I am jumping from one x to series x and think I need to only play on my one x till these glitches get sorted. Good luck to everyone else playing 👍

Just finished my four rounds with a -3 -8 -3 -7 to finish on -21 for the tournament and my best finish so far! No idea if it’s due to now playing on my series x without the glitch or not but hope it can continue! Good luck to all finishing up 👍
