Hello! Might as well introduce myself, even though I'm about 2 weeks late on that one. Might be on this level for a while based on my results so far, but they've already been way better than I initially expected.
The course this week either seems way easier than previous weeks, or I'm improving massively. Got -3 on the first round, which was my best round to date until I finished the second round. I think I'll make the cut comfortably this time around, last 2 weeks I've made it with no strokes left to spare.

Finished Rd 1 with a roller coaster -2. Started off by birdieing the first two holes and in a blink of an eye, bogey and double bogey, I was sitting at +2. Four straight birdies on the back nine to get the -2. Weird round but I'll take it. No further play tonight...don't want to temp the Xbox gods. Rd 2 tomorrow morning. Good luck and good tempo to all.

This course seems much more easy. Last week the cut was +4 i think. This week it seem to end in -1. I got -2 after two rounds so i hope it will keep the scores in that level so i make the cut Its fun to follow this online during the week

I agree it is fun to follow along through the week.
Started -4 first round. Came out hot with 4 birdies in first 5 holes on 2nd round. Proceed to double the next hole due to horrible putting. Get the strokes back later only to double again in the back. Ended at -3 with two doubles. Had a chance at contention if I just par those 2. Oh well. Back to just good enough to not get a promo mark lol

Terrible week for me. My swing plane has been horrible for the past couple weeks. My controller keeps intermittently disconnecting from my PC due to (I think) a bad USB cord. It's gotten in my head and I hold the controller a different way to keep it connected. I should just buy a new one.

Round 2 in the books. Good tempo, just couldn't get going with the putter. +1 and unfortunately current cut line is Even. Just have to wait and see then play on or take a walk.

Will not make the cut: E and then a +4.
Round 2 for me was a real grind. Around 35% FIR and 35% GIR. Nothing was working and I was scrambling just to save pars and had very few legitimate birdie chances. Finish out the next two rounds and set my sights on making the cut next week.

Well, that run was fun while it lasted. Gonna be needing an absolutely out of this world round 4 to have any shot at promotion marks now.
So I started round 3 at -7, decent enough by being up to -8 total after 4 holes.
Then hole 5. That hole 5. Quad bogey by shooting the ball twice into that small patch of water. My kryptonite.
After that, momentum totally gone. Was looking like I wasn't even going to finish under par after 3 rounds. Luckily fought back with 3 birdies back to back at the last 3 holes, putting me back up to -4. Almost got a hole in one in the 16th, missed out by about 2 feet.
Wishing good luck to everyone who still have any rounds to play. I'm gonna probably try round 4 tomorrow to see if I could finally get the same form to a competitive round that I seem to have at times in practice.

I have officially finished up this week, wow what a rollercoaster of rounds in the back half.
Practiced the final round this morning, went into the actual round expecting nothing since I kept shooting the ball who knows where and my putting was atrocious. I would have taken par for the round and calling it there.
Started off with 4 straight birdies in the first 4 holes. One chip, 3 one putts. All of a sudden I'm looking at -8 total and a chance to climb right back up.
Hole 5 I took carefully this time around and I finally didn't mess it up. The rest of the front 9 went at par pace, and my putting game was white hot for some unknown reason.
Scored 3 more birdies in the back 9, no bogeys. Another chip in the 11th, only 10 putts in 9 holes. 22 total for the round. Didn't shoot particularly well during the round, but an unreal putting round saved my bacon a lot. Finished the final round -7, all rounds at -11, giving me my best performance and best rounds by far. At the time I'm typing this up, I'm tied at 24th place and looking good at a promotion mark for the week. After an abysmal round 3, I'm extremely happy with that.
This week might have been an easier course (not sure if fully true), but it has also given me a big confidence boost going into the next event. Looking forward to seeing if this week was a fluke, or if this is where I actually am now.
Good luck to everyone for the next event!
EDIT: right as I refresh, looks like I'm the first one out of a promotion mark. Oh well.

Acadia, Acadia...Acadia! Rd 1 was a very interesting +4 and I had to work my fanny off for that! Two double bogies on the front 9 did the damage as I was able to settle down on the back nine, alas the damage was already done. Initial look at the current scores shows a mix bag for now with lots yet to tee off. Good luck fellow CC-Jers.
PS: I was able to avoid the OBs and water hazards, but played a lot of shots out of the rough and bunkers to pull that off!

I really enjoy playing it, but wow, it shows no mercy!! Unlike you, I was unable to avoid the water and out of bounds, and managed to hit them 3 times. +8 after one round. Just can't get consistent on tempo. Will play for fast, and of course, those times, I hit it perfect. If I play for perfect, I hit it fast. * shakes head *

I did -1 first round with the help of my chip and putttechnic. Only 28 putts saved me.

Yeah, this one's gonna be tough!
I could have played so much worse than I did in round 1, and yet I felt okay finishing +3! Found water twice, leading to a double and triple bogey in the front 9 setting the tone. Played alright in the back 9 even though it finished with a rollercoaster. 29 putts somehow, I felt I did way worse than that. Hoping I could find something in the next round to turn things around.
Thankfully I'm not the only one struggling this week, I'd honestly be happy just making the cut since I gotta work really hard to even get that this week! Good luck to everyone going forward, looks like we're in serious need of that.

This course sure is interesting this week. Lipped out so many birdie putts, but ended up +2, which doesn't seem to bad when I look at the board. However; front 9 on second round I am at +5 for the round after a quad on 8. YIKES
The course is fun, and I am hitting many fairways, but can't hit good spots of the green enough.
