It looks like everyone is a bit shy on CC-G, so I'll kick a thread off.
I started TGC1 in CC-D and made it up to Euro (and a WGR of 180) but have spent most of the last two seasons in CC-B and CC-A, so I've never been this low before. However hopefully I can get to grips with my XB1 tempo woes and make some progress.
I went -1 and +2 in the first two rounds and now waiting to see if I will make the cut before finishing my rounds.
Good luck everyone. At least there is no water or stupid OB stands this week!

Hi 1st two rounds played CC-G R1 - Shot a -3 , some silly bogies on the back nine and a couple of silly missed birdie puts. R2 - Shot E par - was +2 at the turn so il take E for round 2 from the back tee's. Thinking -3 Should make the cut, Good Luck everyone else in CC-G Keeno

Well after struggling with this game since release I seem to have found a bit of a rhythm.
-8, -6 , -9, -7 for -30 total.
Hoping that goes close!
Best of luck to all.

Similar story, TGC1 hit WGR of 245 after starting in CC-C, I got to Web or Euro....I can't remember it was soooo long ago . TGC2 was shelved quite quickly and I enjoyed TGC2019 but never got on with master clubs. This version I find frustrating, challenging and enjoyable so really enjoy it! Tempo is all over the place but usually have very fast or fast swings (unless there is water on the right, then its very slow), if I get a GIR I usually have a 50 foot putt for birdie so they are pretty rare. First two rounds: R1 -1 R2 +1 I may make the cut with that....going to be close.

Well not exactly sure how i did it after my best practice round being -5 but I came out and shot -10 in round 1 with a couple lip outs.... hopefully I dont melt down haha..
Anyways, this is my first TGC Tour and first real exposure to this series so really enjoying the challenge and all of the custom courses. Good luck everyone

I think the +1 players (including myself) are safe from being cut as there are only 5 players on the same or worse score that can go better and that still leaves us at or above the 60% mark. Extra players that haven't played at all will also add to the players under the 60% cut-off.

I finished off R3 and R4 with a -2 and -3 to end up -4. Hopefully that moves me a bit further up the board.

That's a good finish for you. Nice to get under par!

I’ve been on the tours since the very beginning and have been on either PGA or euro the whole time. This game I just can’t get the hang of so it will be strange for me to try and work back up from the CC tours. Looking forward to it. Went -3 and -2 in first 2 rounds which are also my first under par rounds in the game. Good luck to everyone this season.

New Putting Update
R3 - +3 R4 - E
Really frustrated so many really good birdie and eagle chances, 3 and 4 putting just now tho. Need to work on a new putting stroke.
Made the cut tho which was the target at the start of the event. Good Luck to everyone else, some cracking scores at the top of the leaderboard.

Hi guys. I am in this group and look forward to the competition. I did not play this week as I was setting up my Dirtbag league.
I will be back next week missing fairways and 3 putting greens.

Fun week! Really thought practicing Windstone a bit before playing the society rounds made a huuuuuge difference. Also watched some YouTube tutorials on putting and made the guesswork disappear, that was my big issue in qualifying.
Excited to see how the board ends up.
Managed to go -7 -1 -4 -9 for a total of -21!

Fairly uninspiring start to life in CC-G. Made the cut though which always has to be a positive.
R1: -1 R2: +2 R3: -1 R4: Even
I didn't take full advantage of the par 5s throughout the event, which definitely took its toll on my scores.
Really enjoyable course to play though. Well done to admins on the set up, and to the low shooters at the top of the leaderboard.
And good luck to everyone for the rest of the season.

Finished rounds 3 & 4.
3rd round +2 4th round -1
Overall +1
Putting update caught me out! Missed about 4 putts from <5 feet where I underhit it. That tempo change was a bit of a killer lol.
I was pleased with my FIR, need to work on my GIR and get some closer putts for birdies. Tempo on the swing improved a lot as well, so not sure if that has also been patched...better go look for the patch notes.
