Blergh. Putter went cold overnight and ended up with a 70-76. Most likely missing the cut on this one, but I'll squeeze in the final two rounds for some practice.

Looks like I'm going to just barely miss the cut with a 72-69. I had some missed opportunities. Oh, well. Time to get ready for the next tournament.

After making the cut during last tournament, this time there is no chance. First round was quite nice with a -3 and some chances to score even better. The next round was a total mess. Started the front 9 with a double and finished the front 9 with a double. Came out with -1 (69 and 74).

Of course I shoot a bogey-free 64 after I miss the cut. Oooooof.

Well, at least I'm consistent. I've done 4 or 5 practice rounds at The Sand Pit, and I've been between +1 and -1 every time. Really need to spend some time on the practice green, because it's usually been my putting holding me back. But those greens in the Pit are finicky. Good luck to y'all this week.

Practice rounds paid off, I think. 7 birdies and 3 bogeys for an opening round 67. Left a couple strokes out there as well; lipped a birdie putt and put my 2nd into the water on 17. So there are scores out there to be had.

Opened with my first ever bogey-free competitive round on 2K21 at -7. My approach game was on point. Need to keep it up to make a top 10 for once...

I haven't teed off yet. My game is in a funk and I have completely lost my tempo. Most of my time lately has been spent designing and not actually playing. Hopefully I can get it back.

I have played the 1st round. +2 73 which sounds not so good but considering I was +6 after the first 4 holes (putting woes), I'm quite happy. This round should have been 6 or 7 under to be honest. I guess my mental game is pretty strong.

I don't know, this course got me very hard. I just had the worst two rounds ever. First round felt somehow good, but during the second round I lost my timing. I do not know if it is the course or the game. Currently anything I do feels like a coincidence. I am so far away from the scores played here - makes me feel going down to CC-L right now ;-)
Good luck everyone out there

Slapped my way to a second round 75, so almost assuredly going to miss the cut again. Had a bogey-bogey-double-bogey stretch that just destroyed my otherwise decent round. Tough course though. Just gotta suck it up and prep for both courses next week.

Things should balance out. Also, Persephone is a great course. I've played it a few times and it plays very well. Watch out for the OB waste area. That can ruin a round.

Yeah, it does seem a bit top heavy. I looked at CC-I Tuesday-ish, and Even was pretty much the cut line so it seems fine down the table. I've already hit a couple practice rounds on Persephone and you're right on both counts. First time through I played super aggressive just to test how much I could push it and ended up with a 9 on that first par 5, lol. Finished +10.

Went 71-66 on my first two rounds at Royal St. Michael's, so I'm feeling hopeful about making the cut for the first time with a -5. Also shot a 66 at Persephone in the first round of the promo event, despite a double bogey. So it's a pretty good week so far. Here's hoping it stays that way.

Well played cassinochips hopefully you will make it. I had a practice round on St. Michael's Links which went very well with a -6. I thought this was a good sign and startet my first TGC round. Started with a double bogey on 1. I came out with a +2 so I think it will be very hard making the cut. After finishing very bad at the last tournament I think the chances are high that I have to leave CC-H for some time. I think my problem is this kind of pressure which affects my timing enormously. Well let's see what happens during my second round.
