2 good rounds and 2 not so good rounds lol. Hopefully it's enough for a green mark or 2 after it's all said and done.

Hey all,
Just qualified last week into CC-F.
Haven't played much of PGA2k21 yet and still learning the ropes (especially putting where I'm pushing every putt which makes it difficult to adapt), hopefully I can put 4 good rounds in!

Horrendous. No idea what was happening with my tempo. Actually turned it off and took a breather then pars on last 5 holes. Couple demos to come this week ffs.

This is not the week to miss fairways. Figures this week I couldn't fight off the very fast off the tee, can't wait to see my fairways %. Ended up finishing with a solid score somehow but seeing a ton of ppl already at 5 under and better is a bit surprising. The comp is getting real stiff. Missed a promo mark by one stroke last week so hoping I can get a promo mark to move to CC-E after this one.
And I just loved this course. It made for some interesting choices off the tee and was a ton of fun. I think I regret gaming the 295 Bridgestone. Was too much distance on a lot of holes.

Sitting good again after two rounds (-12). However, weary of this as the first two tournaments I played well in R1 & R2 only to slightly fumble through the final rounds.
I am not sure if I like this course yet or not. Definitely a lot of thought needing to go into most tee-shots. I haven't played R3 and R4 yet, but I noticed the wind was down to around 5-6mph in round 3. If that's the case I imagine this lot at -15 are going to possibly go -8 - -10 for R3. Not sure I can keep up with that, but hopefully can bring home another promotion mark or two.
I loved the dual green concept (I think it was on 16?) too. Had me a little confused in round two, but thankfully I played a practice round first or I may have overshot that green by a mile.

Twice I got a super slow out of the blue that put me in the drink. I played all 4 rds back to back and my tempo in rd3 was COMPLETELY different than the other 3 rounds. I'm convinced the game throws you a curveball sometimes just to keep you in check.

I agree the game can throw some curveballs. Also the difference from a very slow to a perfect to a very fast isn't as large as some may think.
What bothers me is I feel going from a practice round to a competitive round sometimes feels the timing is different.
It could be an offline to online thing, but it's probably all in my head.

Well, R3 was the most up-and-down round I've had on TGCTours this year. 4 bogies (ouch!), 3 birdies, and 2 eagles!!!
At the end of it I'll take the -3, but definitely falling a few places, and now being 6 shots off the lead, I can kiss that dream goodbye.
Onto round 4, good luck everyone.

Rd 3 was the best conditions of all 3 rounds and I totally tanked it. After a -11 in rd2 I pull off a -2 in rd 3. I did get a good score in rd 4 but I'm 4 shots off the lead right now so I'm sure it won't be good enough. Maybe a top 5 though. Fingers crossed.

Round 3 really was the round to go low, I posted -3, which isn't terrible but it was a bit disappointing with the conditions. Low 40% fairways and greens just won't cut it, it's really frustrating, but the stats on the website are also encouraging because I know where I need to improve. And without a water ball on 9, I would've been in the low to mid 60s even with the terrible tee and approach shots. My big takeaway this week is throttle back my aggression and start playing smarter. My round 4 was worse than the 3rd but currently in line for a mark so hopefully I can hold on and go up to CC-E.

Have played 2 rounds and am at -9. That's with at least 10 putts shaving the edge - not putting badly at all, just refusing to drop.
Feels like a much easier course this week. I am shooting consistently mid-60s without feeling like I'm playing amazing golf. Expect the cut line will be a lot higher than E this week.
Must say I'm really enjoying the variety and quality of courses in CC so far, each week it's different and that keeps things interesting.
