Howdy all. Playing TST style for my THC Tours career and always have done. Made it through qualifying which was surprising yet good. Usually shoot in the range of a few shots either way around E par.
Just played the 1st round and my god was on fire with my tempo but seems like an easy scoring course with some short par 5s and short par 4. Shot -7 which is my best round on Master TST difficulty since launch. Sure to shoot a few over par next I'm sure 😜
Good luck all!

Fairways are very generous. Played my second when I was telling myself not to.
Still fun though.

Hi all. I have gotten a lot better since the start of qualifying (in my mind at least), and spent the past week practising at Windstone using different tees and conditions. Averaged -3 or -4, never worse than E. So I was hoping to be competitive straight away.
Started as I had hoped, -4 through 12. Gave a few stupid ones back to finish -1.
Rd2, schoolboy error made by playing straight away and trying avenge my first round collapse. Should have put it down and come back the next day. Long story short, completely sh@t the bed, finished +4 after rd2 and almost certainly going to miss the cut (currently cut line is +1).
Anyway, good luck to all, especially those fighting it out over the weekend, and I'll see you next week.

Good luck all.

Hi everyone.. Pleased to join F TROOP lol. CCF was where i started when I first joined TGC tours way back when ? Did not even think I would get a tour card after a poor Q school so this is a plus. +3 to start after 2 rounds so I am improving just need to slow myself down and study my shots a bit more, hoping I will just make the cut when everyone as played,

Hey everyone! Fired my best round under these difficulty settings in round 1 with a -8. Followed that up with +4. Should be good to make the cut but I need to practice tempo a lot!
Finally getting used to the putting but these greens were no joke.
Good luck everyone!

Finally started feeling like I’ve got my legs under me and played much better this course than the qualifying. Lost all putting feel in round 3 and squandered a long eagle hole out to only finish 2 under, missed gaining strokes on any par 5s. Good luck to all

1st Round -5 No bogies though thanks to putter . Missed a bird on two of the par 5s which wasnt good considering i 3 putted one of them. Good luck all. Second round struggle as that was lot harder. 3 bogies 4 birds. Now -6 after 2 rounds. Not played 3rd yet.

Currently in the top 5 but probably won't stick since I was all over the place in Rd 4. Greens seemed a little faster too.
Did anyone else have trouble with the 18th? I must have lost so many strokes to the field on that hole if not. Not sure what it was. I missed a ton of putts there so that probably didn't help.

I definitely struggled with 18 green (and #3 too), missed a ton of 8-12 footers. Seemed like in between when I played rounds 1 & 2 and 3 & 4 there was an update (or my tempo got way off) and putting was much slower, I was leaving a ton short or overcompensating and flew a couple by.
Had a solid 4th round though so think I have a good chance at top 5-10. Played an initial practice round though for next week and it's a big changeup going from wide open to these narrow fairways.

Yup, I played a speed round on next week's too. If I remember correctly the rough was nasty too to go along with the narrow fairways. I'm not the most accurate off the tee to say the least lol, so looking like I need the 2 promo marks this week.
