Sitting at -4 after R2. So many birdies left out there.

Three put. ever. I get to the green for birdie and go out with bogey. oftentimes.
But it was worse. I'm getting better. Another lost cut.

Wow was that average from me. Started off the first round hot, -4 on the front nine. Then cooled off with a back 9 -1 to end the first round with a bogey free -5. Second round, almost the perfect average round. Birdied 9 and 10, bogied 11, par on literally every other hole.
Round 1 stats: 84.6% FIR, 70.6% GIR, 23.3 ft proximity, 52.9% one putt, 100/83.3/33.3% putt accuracies, 100% scrambling, 41.7% birdie conversion.
Round 2 stats: 92.3% FIR, 64.7% GIR, 20.3 ft proximity, 41.2% one putt, 100/60/20% putt accuracies, 83.3% scrambling, 18.2% birdie conversion.
So basically, my putting in round 2 was absolutely pathetic.
Should make the cut, possibly right on the number depending on the guys still to play round 2... But I think some early practice at Tasoto might be needed as this week is definitely not what I was expecting.
EDIT: Looking at the stats so far, im #1 in driving accuracy this week, 37th in greens hit, 18th in scrambling... But 104th in birdies/round, and 69th in putts/round. That's just not gonna get it done.

After squeaking out a win in CC-C last week I hoped to keep my momentum in my CC-B debut. If a -7 65 can feel super disappointing, then that was my first round. Missed some great birdie putt opportunities and hit a couple terrible pitch shots. Was also left confused at some weird bounces that cost me. Played a practice round and shot 60 with 2 bogies, but when the wind was coming from the SE rather than the East as it did in practice that seemingly got in my head in the first few holes. Hopefully I can hit my approaches a little more consistent in round 2 and convert those makeable putts. Very nice looking course, fun too if you drive it well, punitive if you don't.

Looks like the B thread is a bit quieter than the C thread.
-6, -7 & -8 Rs so far. -21 with R4 still to play. A half decent final round will hopefully be good enough for a promo mark. I'd happily settle for that this week.

A pair of 'meh' 68s puts me 2 strokes inside the cut line. Hopefully the wind dies down for the next two rounds and I can go out and make a few birdies!

Shot a 69, 63 for a -12 start to sneak into the top 10 for now. Fourth round was a mess though and awful compared to the first three rounds. 8.5.1

66 67 so many lipped out putts. In the second round finally hit the damn fairway on #12 for the first time in 6 rounds and promptly yanked one left into the water....I really don’t like that hole. Feel like I’m dialing in my putting even though I still manage at least one green where I three putt from under 10. Definitely hope the greens stay on the softer side for the final rounds.

Was looking good for 2 promos this week but now I'll be happy if I get even one, after a horrid final round.
Took a triple on the 4th after getting wet twice from the tee. Promptly fired the caddie. That was followed by no less than 12 straight pars. XB tempo was acting a bit iffy and nothing was going in with the putter. I thought I might be on course for my first over par round in a long time in this game.....thankfully I managed to finish birdie/eagle (pitched in) for a -1 round.
At least this week ended on a high note. Happy to move on though. Only my personal feeling, but was never really a fan of the courses general aesthetic.

A terrible 3rd round (72) destroyed my chances of a decent finish this week. I finished with a 67 for -13 overall. Here's the weird part - I looked over the leaderboard and to me, it sure looked like round 3 had the most high scores. Many golfers seemed to struggle with the 3rd round. Even stranger, IMO, the 3rd round had the easiest conditions. Maybe the hole locations were tougher and led to fewer putt being made? Who knows?

-18 thru 2.
Meh, certainly enough to make the cut I would think but not good enough to threaten the top 1 so far.
Missed a bunch of very makeable birdie putts and wedge play was a bit off at times. There will certainly be some very low PS scores this week....and the odd XB one too.

I've been busy recently but I've made sure to keep in touch with the Tours.
So far I've finished 54th, 60th and 54th so it's fair to say I've found my level! I just need to work on my putting to get me climbing towards the top end of the leaderboard.

I was waiting for the confirmation e-mail but I have officially been promoted to this circuit! I see some familiar faces.
Played my first round this morning and it was a very disappointing 5-under. Drove one shot in the water and had a very bad hole from tee to green for my 2 bogeys that took some shine away from my 7 birdies. And I missed a few more chances to add to that total. We will see where we stand tomorrow before hitting Round 2.

Gonna miss my first cut of the year. Just couldn't get any consistent rhythm with all my shots during these first two rounds and finished 7-under for my first two. Figured I would miss the cut so I played my last two and finished 18-under. Won't count except giving me more reps.
