I'm a little confused on the placement, but I am sure I will find out in a few days. If you have finished near the top of the Q-school leaderboard, does land you in a better league, or does everyone go to the same one that qualifies? Sorry I am new to the qualifying process. Short answer: the higher you finish, the better the tour you qualify for. Long answer: if you shoot better than the 20th best score in that week CC-A tournament, you are guaranteed to get a place at least on the Kinetic Tour, but you can also qualify for Elite or Platinum depending on how low you go. If you don't, you can still get a Challange Circuit card, but the exact number of cards up for grabs each week is determined by how many players actually take part in that week tournaments in relation to an ideal field size of 155 for each flight (or 1860 for the whole circuit). This is better explained on the very first post of this thread. Obviously, once the number of cards is determined, they are assigned to players based off their finishing position in the weekly qualifying.

Thank you so much, that makes things a lot more clear. Hopefully I can hang in the top 20 of CC-A then. I had a miserable 3rd and 4th round though..

I just recently bought the new golf game and discovered the TGC Tours.....I just joined the tour a few weeks ago and just went right in the qualifying for one of the tours. Prior I was just playing career mode at the amateur level as this was all new to me. I wanted to to see what societies was all about and discovered a whole new world. So I didn’t know what I was doing and went into qualifying and got punched in the gut and kicked around. I didn’t realize the difference in levels with Master compared to amateur. My drives were going wide right on every shot and my putts were flying past the hole. I was discouraged but determined to improve....I didn’t know about the Beer League with Pro difficulty but was committed to just learn the Master level with practice on the range. I figured out a huge flaw and quickly got better with practice rounds. People are correct that if you practice you can improve with the Master difficulty. Things are looking better now and I’m going to continue to try to qualify for a tour.
I’m just so happy I found the TGC Tours and wished I started playing years ago with the golf games and tours. I’m hooked now! And who is this Sloan guy? I’m looking at the scores of each Tour and this guy is tearing it up!

The first year I played golf games online was Tiger Woods 2005 on the PS2. Sloaner was kicking my butt then, too.

I lived in the trees, bushes and streams, lakes..... I just need to dial in the putting a little better but finally sinking the ones are easy and prior they were far right and 10-20 ft passed the hole. I’m just taking small steps to improve with all aspects.

Getting rather fed up with this. Some jerk appears to have put me in the Beer League, and unlike previously there does not appear to be a way to leave. As a consequence I cannot try to qualify for Challenge Circuit because you cannot do both. No admin response to any query that I raise, wonder if it is actually worth the hassle.

Have your raised an actual ticket via email as per the instructions? Also, have you unchecked the Beer League box in your TGCT profile, also in the instructions? Or you could just ask for your money back? Oh, wait.....

I’m glad I never responded first or it could of been a lot worse! Point number one if I’m asking for help I would not call someone a jerk! Secondly many people are here running these excellent tours and forums in their own time for free and they do a fantastic job and in the past when someone has a problem they write politely and get an answer and problem is resolved. Manners don’t cost anything just like this site...just a little respect is all that was required. Ok I’ll get off my horse, sorry 😄

If people can't be bothered to read the guidelines and then come on here calling people jerks, then I'd say yes, sarcasm is perfectly acceptable And I have helped, with the two things he can do to resolve his situation.

There used to be but it does not exist now in my profile, this is not limited to me if you read some other posts. Number of posts with same issue so I would have thought admin would act without having to receive actual tickets!!

There is actually another issue here, how has someone got access to my profile to enter me into Beer League? If no box exists how the hell have they done it anyway?
Oh and by the way have left 'polite' posts for help and not even received a reply.

Posting on the forum for help may get over looked, the admins probably don't read every single post or thread here. You are best to email the support desk, . Explain your problem in exact detail, be polite and respectful and you will get sorted out. Provide your gamertag, forum name, and tour name commish@tgctours.com

Oh and by the way have left 'polite' posts for help and not even received a reply. Why on earth would you think that someone has gone in to your profile and maliciously moved you in to the Beer League?? If there is a problem here, which to be honest is still to be confirmed, then it's clearly a problem with the coding. I've just got to check... You go on to the TGCTours website (not this one, the main one), you click on 'Edit Profile', you scroll all the way down past all your personal information and gamertags etc, and right at the bottom is the Beer League bit with a little box to check or uncheck. It's still there on my profile. If for some reason there is a glitch, then follow the step Tim has posted above. Writing whiney messages in this forum is not going to get you anywhere. Raise a ticket via email and when they have a bit of spare (unpaid) time they will get to you and sort it out. They're normally pretty quick.
