UPDATE: After R3 reveal there will be a projected tour cards line on the leaderboard as well as projected cards available at the top above the scores. This is mainly to give you an idea of how many Challenge Circuit cards will be available that week and does not take into account people earning possible pro cards. Mainly there to help narrow down where the cutoff should be but don't shoot the messenger if it's off!
Weekly Qualifying Society: TGCTours (Challenge Circuit)
What is the Qualifying Pool?
If you opt into our main tours and don't have a tour card you will be placed in the Qualifying Pool. The Qualifying Pool is the group of golfers trying to earn a tour card each week. There is no limit to how many times you can attempt to qualify for a tour card.
How many cards available each week? Platinum/Elite/Kinetic: unlimited (based off scoring)
Challenge Circuit: When a week ends we calculate how many open slots there were in the field of each Challenge Circuit flight. The open slots are then available as Challenge Circuit tour cards for those Qualifying that same week.
How are tour cards assigned?
Platinum/Elite/Kinetic: Earning a pro tour card will remain the same as last season - you need to shoot a qualifying score good enough to land on one of those tours.
Challenge Circuit: After those earning pro cards have moved to their new tours we'll be left with a Qualifying leaderboard that is fighting for the available Challenge Circuit cards. Available Challenge Circuit cards we be given out, starting from the best score and working down until no more cards are available. This will keep our Challenge Circuit topped up around 1,850 members.

-Ideal Tour Size question pertaining to CC only: Is the expansion outward from 135 going to be gradual? Seems like if all the spots were allowed in in this weeks' event, then many players would find themselves in a tour above their skill level.
-How is the Actual Tour Size figured? Is it literally week to week participation or will their eventually be a few weeks' average applied to this once we get on with events and Admin has more data.

1. They will all be filled this week - we have a large qualifying pool. Going forward it'll be base on how many leave game/don't play etc. Will be a slower trickle I'm sure. The Challenge Circuit is being treated as one big tour - we'll be feeding in the best of the qualifying pool weekly. Fast tracking and promotion/demotions will sort out the rest. 2. week to week participation - it looks at the previous week and backfills the open spots following week. We'll always be around 1850-1900 active in the Challenge Circuit - will likely be a dip after promotion events backfill the top 3 tours - but that will be corrected the following week by the system.

I didn't factor in the fast tracking pertaining to #1. The Promotion Events as well on top of what you mentioned should help the balance.
One last question: The criteria for the Pro Tours. Is it still based off of a % of CC-A scores? I assume it might change over time, but is there some kind of metric that those going through QSchool this week should be aiming for to get into Platinum, Elite, or the Kinetic Tour?
Edit: I ask the last question mostly for those who were trending towards a Pro card but got stuck in a water glitch, but also long term in case you wish to share.

Yes pro tours are still based of a CC-A score but it won't be % based, it's changing to stroke based. ie, if the CC-A score that it's based off shoots 18-under, then Kinetic may be 23-under, Elite 28-under and Platinum 33 under. Final settings will be monitored/tweaked to make sure good players end up in the top 3 tours and they don't empty out prior to Promo Events.

I finished up outside of ccL. I believe I can play beer league and enter the weekly qualifier. Is this correct?

I finished up outside of ccL. I believe I can play beer league and enter the weekly qualifier. Is this correct? IF you opt into Beer League - you cannot attempt to qualify - it's one or the other.. So if you missed out on the main Qualifier - you've been automatically registered for the weekly Q-School which starts this week. I would suggest you do this week's Q-School to see if you get a card - the Challenge Circuit courses are generally much tamer than what you saw in the Mass-Q - so it is likely you could get awarded a tour card this week - especially since the CC divisions are all under-sized currently (20 or so slots in each).. Good Luck!

I was pulled as I accidentally used an illegal controller and shot +10 in the first week so I have to go and do Qschool again. What is the likelihood of spots being available if I say shoot E for the 4 qualifying rounds?
Also do I have to register or just play the cc society?

Doyley, not sure if you noticed this or not - but the 'Upcoming Events' section only shows CC up to G.. I know the tour for which you hold a card is the one that is featured on the top of the main site page, but for newcomers, they may look into the Active and Upcoming events sections.. Just something I noticed.. Thanks!

Just have to play the society - you'll already be in the Q-Pool. My guess is that even par might be close this week - but it's hard to say at this point.

Looks like it's 'sort of ' fixed now - seems the current events are listed now as 'Past Events' and the scores are pretty jacked up.. The tournaments list for the tours show this as week 1 rather than 3 - which I'm guessing is the issue.. Should I put in a ticket? My scores are showing 121, 98, 87 82 - but I actually shot 68, 73, 69. 67

Hi all New to this this forum but have been on tour since 2017,had a good qualifying rounds for a change and made the kinetic tour, what society will this be playing in? Thanks You are very lucky to be picked for the kinetic tour. It’s a well known fact that the kinetic tour has the best looking, most intelligent players in all of tgctours. It is played from the kinetic society. Feel free to say hello to your fellow kinetic tour members on the kinetic tour forum.
