meh. 78 67 for another missed cut and possible demotion. Meanwhile, I'm -6 after 2 rds on Platinum, -14 after 2 rds on Elite, and -11 after 2 rds on Kinetic. Doesn't make any sense that I play better on what should be harder courses/tours. It's 3 marks for promotion but 5 marks for a demotion, would be impressive if you pick that up in 2 weeks! You live to fight another day. Looking like 2 marks for me, I keep forgetting we get the round 2 leaderboard on a Tuesday. That would be impressive. Lol. I wasn't sure on how many marks for demotion, but I had 2 from last week and anticipate getting 2 more this week, so I assumed I was getting close.

First two in the books. Got off to a good start making the turn in -4 round 1. A little tempo problem and a few short putts missed on the back and finished at -3. Issues carried over into the start of round 2 and could only muster 1 birdie and 1 bogey on the front. Tempo came back and putter got hot on the back and I shot 29 for a -5. So -8 through 2 and on to the weekend. Hopefully I can keep it together in the tougher condition and squeak out a Top 25.

Very disappointing R2 of -7 for me. I say that because I was -7 on the front 9 and proceeded to play the back 9 level par. Just like R1, I once again started here with 5 consecutive birdies only for the birdie train to come to a stop on the first par 5, again. Hhmm.
-16 after 2. Certainly not terrible, but really feel I could be a few better.

Bogey free -6 in rd2 to move up the cut line. Should be ok, but it’s a strange playing course. I can’t seem to hit anything but 11 o’clock fasts with my normal swing on the boomer 295 driver. Then I immediately go to The Money Tour rd2 and can only hit baby fasts. I just cant understand that. Yesterday I thought it was a calibration problem. Tonight it wasn’t that. Just weird. Anyway, I figure the boomer is needed with the certain winds coming up so I’m kinda thinking stay the course in rd3. We’ll see. Good luck to all those lads fighting the cut.

Thru 2 (64 in rd 1, 61 in rd 2) find myself with the slimmest of leads. Spent this past week in between events experimenting with a new putting method. Started to really pay off somewhere around the last 4 holes in round 1 and continued especially on the front 9 of round 2. Missed a couple straight up hill putts that made me cringe on the back 9. Down to 24 putts in round 2 after spending last week hovering around 30 each round. Win or lose I'm definitely pleased with the progress so far of that part of my game.

Went -2/-5, bogeyed the last 2 holes of the second round.
Got a new laptop, found out that this game actually looks pretty fantastic. Also for some reason now hitting perfect shots feels almost trivial. But it screwed up my putting pretty good, and I wasn't any good at that to begin with, probably missed 15 putts inside 10 feet.

I was very happy after 2 rounds... Not after Round 3,though. Played an horrendous 2-over to eliminate all the chances I had to maybe compete for the win. Oh well, I did play round 4 but I'll wait until closer to the deadline to reveal how it went. At least, I feel like I am also making progress although I know my limitations on this game.

Well I guess I'm kinda getting worse as this event progresses.
R1 -9 R2 -7
...and R3...drumroll...
...-6.
Ok, not bad. -22 after R3.
Any kind of decent R4 should see me comfortably promoted at this point. As for winning, well that might be a bridge too far I suspect. Will wait and see how the leaderboard is shaping up.

Grinding, grinding grinding. No repeatable swing in rd3. -4 with a few bogeys. On to rd4.

I played with your ghost in round 1. Didn't think I had much of a chance after seeing some of the shots and putts you were hitting man. Think we're in the same boat where we are flashing the capabilities of pro tour stuff but it's just about building consistency. I like that this game demands that.

Not sure if anyone went super low in round 3 yet but I got off to a slow start and totally lucked into a 65 down the stretch to be -23 thru 3. Looking forward to letting my nerves shank a few if I still have that slim lead heading into "sunday".

R2 certainly could/should have been better, R3 on the other hand was probably a fair reflection of my general play and probably as good as it was ever going to get. G'luck on 'Sunday' and remember, pressure is for tyres .

I really played my best golf in the game in those first 2 rounds. 22 putts is a pretty good number... But 27 in the third with only 37% of GIR is a recipe for disaster. The conditions in the first 2 rounds were very good for my game. As soon as those winds came out, every single practice round was a struggle to make par. But I seriously could have been better. Best of luck for anyone in the race for the win. I still have a fair chance to get promo marks. We'll see how my 4th round will compare to the rest.

Well I'm in the clubhouse with a final score of -27.
-9, -7, -6 and -5 to finish. Was putting together a solid bogeyless final round that I was happy with, until a bogey on 17 left a slightly bitter taste in the mouth!
All in all a decent week again for me, which will see me move up to CC-B.
