]so here's my question - any predictions on my +5? will the cut line move in my favor in the next 24 hours? thoughts? I think one of the problems with hoping the cut line will go up is that it’s only the Top 60% of players who actually complete both their opening rounds so if someone who is already behind you after one round decides to withdraw before completing 36 holes then that hinders you At least I think that’s how it works Keeping my fingers crossed for you as there are still players who could fall back but think you might just miss out Richard Well, i LUCKILY made it, and went on to shoot a terrible round three. this game can be frustrating. kind of, you know, like... golf?!? good luck to others still going! (i'll try to finish up without hitting any spectators) -kev

Well that's that. And after that third round I just couldn't do it. And by do it, I mean play with any integrity. I was mentally shot, so in the final round I just hit the ball wherever and however I wanted - into the water, the rough... even backwards. I was a petulant child. If this was the PGA Tour I'd be breaking my club over my knee, storming off and refusing to do interviews. Finished up + 36 overall. No idea how I shot that - 7, but I need a stiff drink while I figure it out. And I don't even drink! this happened to me midway through round 3. just lost it at moments, and sprayed the ball around on my way to an 81. setting a goal of +3, 75, for round 4. gotta take some baby steps here...

some crickets in the igloo...
i guess i'll respond to myself.
well, i shot a 76 for round 4 - so one off my goal. i'm okay with that.
this week, i show a +2 and followed with a +1, so i again find myself on the wrong side of the cut line by a single shot. last week, the line moved at the end and let me in. here's to hoping it happens again!
good luck out there!

Oh good Lord.
Just got an X Box Series X and it seems like it's even harder to swing with the new controller. Sticks are way looser. Scored a par on the first round with my old One S, then switched over to the Series X for the final three.
All I can say is please don't look at my final three round scores. Seriously considering the Beer League now. 🤦🏾♂️

Instantly better. The old accessories still work in the Series X. You’re welcome my friend.

I knew about the old controllers still working with the Series X, but I thought it might be better if I tried to get used to the new controller going forward so I don't have to keep switching. But I think I might not bother and just use the old one. Guess it's a bit like getting used to one set of clubs, then suddenly changing - in theory you should hit them same, but in practice, even a slight difference can throw you off your game. At least that's what I'm telling myself!

put together one of my best (competitive) rounds in recent memory, shooting a 67 (-3) to close the tournament. Might be my first "top 70" finish. and while that might not sound so impressive, let's just say it's been a long slog to get there! a double bogey on 10 spoiled some of the fun after a 31 on the front 9, but i held it together enough to move up a bit on the leaderboard.
good luck to those finishing up!

Every small step in the direction makes the game so much more fun.

Just finished this week's Amazon Prime Tournament. Course it fairly easy but also my swing improved a lot over the last week. -24 overall. Hopefully a top 10 finish! Good luck everyone!

wow! -24 - nice score! good luck!
(i'm gonna play a practice round or two first, see if i can make a run at the top 50 this week. although, first i have to make the cut - i've been close, making it by only a stroke or two the last couple of weeks!)

Course this week is spectacular, but terrifying! So many opportunities to get into trouble and have big numbers. But also a good number of birdieable holes. #15 with that front pin placement is insanely difficult, as are the few finishing holes. Went +3, -6 first two rounds which I’m feeling pretty good about.

Man, long (drunk) message incoming.
What a week to forget for me. Another cut made, but the 15th hole took my soul. For anyone that doesn't know, I've been on here for almost 3 year and I've had some near misses. I should of won by now, but I always get in my own way. I led twice into the final round year on the Web Tour and choked it away. Ive had countless opportunities to win, and I always find a way to lose.
This week , what a course. suits my game to the ground. -6 through 14, round one, flawless. And then I take an 8 on 15. Head... Gone .
I will say though, I'm learning each week. And I feel like I'm going to FINALLY win soon. My game feels like it's trending and the putter is finally where it was a year ago (hot sex on legs). It isn't this week, but I think it's coming. I hope so anyway, and I hope we can all raise a drink in celebration for whenever it happens.
Love to all.

J Kirby x Just to add, I fought from CC Z to European Tour last year, through consistently alone. I've never won, so it can happen guys. Im still around 300 OWGR and I've never won. So don't stop grinding. This game and community is the pinnacle of golfing for those of us that love the sport, but sadly aren't Dustin Johnson in real life. I find myself way down the rankings again this year's edition, but I'll keep fighting. As I expect all of you too as well!

put together a pretty solid even par 71 in round one. 2 birdies, 2 bogeys, some disappointing pars, and some amazingly rescued pars. i guess a deserving score of E, as a result.
the winds die down for round 2, so hoping i can improve a bit.
good luck to all,
