Congrats to any new folks who just got promoted up here. Really loved the Georgia Match Club after one round. A few early bogeys derailed my round, but I scraped together a -5. Haven't played myself out of a cut but I'll need a decent second round.
This is the type of course where there are a lot of holes you'll just need to survive, and you must take advantage of the birdie holes when they're given to you. Its a beauty of a course, probably my favorite of the season so far. Make sure you check out the clubhouse area too, it's top notch

Just got promoted all the way from D. Unfortunately this week I went out and shot -10 in round one, then was only 4 under the rest of the way in. Completely lost my swing, especially with the putter. Hopefully -12 at least makes the cut and onto next week.

Well I'm back to my TGCTours home. 42 events in A, 30 or so each in D and C. (and a small stint in Web) But I always seem to wind up here. Came from CCC this time. Had a decent promo event to put me here.
Tournament summary:
Not making the cut
GOOD.
Out of form. Been playing a fun game in place of golf. Went in cold..paid the price..mostly my fault..with some HB Jank to spice things up. Oh well
Back to having fun in another game.
/end over the top whiney sounding post made mostly in jest..mostly lol <--even threw in a lol to show I'm not too upset../

Sitting at -8 at the cut this week.
Was very excited to get my first promo mark last week and promptly followed that up with a -1 in round 1. This course was more difficult for people than I thought it was going to be though and I realized I had a chance still. A decent enough -7 in round 2 has me sitting right near the cut line, I'm hoping it hangs on and I can protect my green check for another week.

Played this course once last week & knew that , although it looks fairly simple , it plays much harder. Started with a poor -1 & having seen the cut was sitting around -7 I feared the worst. Happy to say my 2nd round -9 cheered me almost as much as it surprised me. Ploughing on with the 3rd & 4th rounds with safety pretty much assured & was happy to score -6 and another -9 for a total of -25. Never thought that kind of score would’ve been possible after the 1st round so despite the unlikelihood of a promo mark, I’m still finishing this week on a positive. On to next week. Good luck all , enjoy!

Any chance of CC-A getting trickier courses? Hardly seems appropriate for CC-L and CC-A players to encounter identical conditions/courses when the ability gap is so fast. Played mediocre practice round on next weeks course and still shot -8. -50+ will win most likely since once more the fairways are a mile wide and the greens flatter than a pancake.

My -5 first round had two bogeys and a double...I’m just hoping my -41/42 (I forget which) is enough to earn one more promo mark so I can get up to Kinetic. Scheduling for the wide playing abilities in CC is a tough job.

TGCT Challenge Circuit Soccer League
Add a bit of spice to your Challenge Circuit rounds each week. Play as your favourite soccer team and qualify for the equivalent of the Champions League or Europa Cup. Nothing much required beyond playing your normal rounds each week, reporting your scores and engaging in a bit of good-natured soccer/pixel golf related banter. Already major clubs such as Ajax and Celtic are in as well as minnows such as East Fife and Herne Bay FC.
Worried that you won't be competitive? A crack team of mathematicians recruited from the finest universities in China have developed a balance system so whether you are in CC-A trying for the pro tours or striving for the cut in CC-L you will have a chance.
If you have an allegiance to a club, a CC Tour card and a sense of humour and would be interested, message me.

In TGC19, I made my way from CC-D to CC-A. I never made the pro tours, but I was getting close.
Then 2k21 dropped and I found myself back in CC-D. After working up through the ranks with good play, I have found myself once again back in CC-A.
Looking forward to the competition.

Sucked it up this week. 13 birdies in first two rounds, but only -4 to show for it. Missed cut and and at least 1 red mark, probably 2.

This course plays a lot tougher than it seems its going to. -10 at the halfway point which looks like it should hang on for the cut

That back nine really requires some error-free golf or some really big numbers can come in to play.
