After following your trials and tribulations in Q-School it's great to see the likes of xboxjonnyuk and Blade making such good progress! Tell you what John, I haven't teed off yet but I was just looking at the CC-C leaderboard thinking I'd be happy with -3 to start....
Nice work fellas, you are going to be moving upwards sooner rather than later! Yeah it was a bit of a rock and roller start for me to be fair especially in Q school and to be honest I was expecting too much as I’d had over a year break and then come back in to be greeted with this new game and master settings )) But I agree it’s starting to get better and thanks a lot Jamie! Nice to hear. It is nice to see a few of us improving down here at the bottom and we will all spur each other along as you are and hopefully we can move up soon 👍 Agreed about the -3 and it does seem that would be sitting kind in some of the other divisions. You are right about the last two holes though and be careful as they tripped me up. Best of luck matey when you play 👍 Thanks Jamie. 17 is pretty tricky - not sure I hit that green yet! Did pretty well on R3 (-4), especially considering those winds - really tricky - make sure you pay attention to them closely!

I obviously then missed the short birdie putt 🙈. Story of my round, ended up +1. I'm sure our paths will cross at some point, I just hope it's you moving up rather than me moving down!

And Rd4 was a story of being between clubs, even on tee shots. Front 9 was not good but 8 pars and a bird on the back, so +1 for Rd4, -4 for the tourney. Enjoy those last 2 rounds!

Well as always with my posts and rounds nothing is simple 😄 Arrived at my parents and my 76 year old father used to play golf and has an Xbox which he plays call of duty on but when he see me practising golf he wanted to have a go so I bought him the game and last two days we’ve been playing but on beginner for my dad but then I just went to play my 2nd round 😬 It was like starting all over again and a big mistake to of played a few rounds on beginner and all my timing was out. Anyway sorry for the boring stuff above I finished the second round +2 even after an eagle on 15 and then yet again bogied 17 and 18! Sitting through two rounds at -1 so not the end of the world but pretty disappointed after the first round. I’ll have to go round with my father playing on the same tour settings I think 😄 You set the target through 2 Scott and I matched it )) Not sure I’ll match your round 3 though and very well played 👍

Just finished my last two rounds to finish up +1. Started round 4 even par so could of been worse and for now I have two promotion marks so if it stays that way pleased as punch.

Received 2 promotion marks for last week, but pretty sure I will give them back this week. Horrifying R1 at +10 with 2 birdies and only two 3 putts (which tells you how off the mark I was). 38% FIR and 35% GIR. Really disappointed as I played this below par during several practice rounds! It isn't that hard, so I am sure many of you will have a very good R1.
Congrats John for your promotion mark!

Shame about your first round but you still have chance to redeem the week and pull it back a bit and routing for you! I’ve only had chance to have one practice and was -4 but practise and playing for real are two totally different things as we know very well 😄

Congrats to you guys on your promotion marks!! well done!
After my horrendous start last week (+17) where I didn't even think I had a card I have done a little better this week. I had changed my whole putting method last week and got progressively better during the week although still getting used to the new method. By the end of the week I had hit a +3, and had actually hit below par for the first time on my single player game!
So with all that, I will take my +7 for a start to this week. Things felt good, what got me was nerves and yips, hoping that I could finally turn the corner and do better, and just trying too hard, if that makes sense, and hitting very slows because I was trying to hard not to hit it fast. Especially on holes 7 and 8. With that river running down the right side, I was trying too hard not to hit it, and messed up my tempo there. Putting has been going great since I changed it. I left more than a few short, but instead of leaving them 5 feet short, I was only leaving them inches short, and I will take that!
hoping the yips can leave and I can at least make the cut this week or not get any demotions!

Just can't seem to hit F/Gs like I would like (but better - 46%/59%) and putting has changed for me (two 3 putts again as well) - several short and that was never a problem in the past. Oh well, still having fun! Better luck to you all!!!

What a complete nightmare and like you Scott I had a horrendous first round +7 and at one stage I was also +10 but managed a couple of birdies on the back nine. Second round I went even par but again I was +11 going into the last four holes and to be honest I had given up even trying to make the cut as I knew it was virtually impossible especially how I was playing and my timing and feeling had just gone completely but then had two birdies and an eagle on the last to finish up +7 through two. One think I will say and not sure if it’s the same for others but if I have a few days break and don’t play I lose everything that I had and really need a few days practice again to get it back. Oh this game 😬 Hope you guys are doing better and congrats Josia on making the cut 👍 Good luck all!

If I take even one day off it seems like it takes me a few days practice again to get it back! As a result I have been trying to at least play one round a day, even if its just the single player tour, just something to keep the muscle memory going.
I'm really glad I made the cut, because in round 3 the clock struck midnight and the carriage turned back to a pumpkin. Nothing felt right. I just could not get a feel for the tempo, or the putts. Since I was doing ok in my warmup round, I am hoping it was all nerves. Since I did so well in Round 2, I was trying too hard to do it again, and overthinking it. I just need to relax!
