Pleasantly surprised that after blowing rounds two and threee that my final round of -10 looks to give me the last promo mark position.

kind of a quiet board this season. Is anyone finding it a little easier now after 8 weeks of tournament play? I missed the first cut but have scored well enough each week to play on the "weekends" the rest of the season so far. I made it on the number this week... whew

I've made all cuts and this will be back to back promos for me this week.

Every week, however, I've been just on the outside of getting a promotion mark. My one solid week (at Tasoto) I finished t5 and earned a double promo. Other than that, it's been a very quiet and sad season for me

This week for example, I go 65-70-65-62. I always have that one round where no birdies want to drop that kills my chances. Even at Tasoto, I only went 66-64-67-68. Just was lucky nobody else played extraordinarily well.

Only cut missed was last week but it was by one so no demos. Really surprised to make the cut this week at -3 and had my best rounds of the week in 3 & 4.
IMO I feel my swing is getting more consistent, it is just dealing with either harder courses, tougher conditions or both. Still love the game and the challenge of Master. REALLY think they should have pushed for the pro tours to play Legend, maybe they look to make that change in a future season? Just my 2 cents there.
Onward!

Course this week was outstanding. Gorgeous views along the ocean. Probably my favorite we’ve played so far!
Of course it may have helped the rounds went 67-62-61-64. Best rounds for me out of nowhere. Hoping it’s not a fluke!

Really liked the course this week, ended up -20 which I would have taken before the event but wasn’t satisfying. Put three in the water over the last two rounds with some bad decisions, and putted really poorly. Felt like a really low round was out there as my tempo has gotten pretty solid with irons but just couldn’t put it together

I was playing ping-pong with myself on these four rounds. Started with a 60, pinged back to a 67 in r2, ponged back to a 59 in r3, and pinged back again to a 66 in r4. In total, -33 and I am definitely happy with it. Looks like this should be my last week on CC-D

Wanna hear about a crash and burn boys and girls? Gather 'round while Uncle Art tells you how to be thoroughly mediocre "The Vandelay Way". Opened 68-70 to make the cut with a couple to spare, toss in a 69 on moving day, -6 heading to the final round. Take a look at this beauty of an opening stretch in round 4: Oh the horror! 54 holes burnt in 3 then salt in the wound. Did get two back to finish the event at level, so I have that going for me. Onward!

Onward! For some reason, I think Vandelay Industries will be okay plus the course coming up Recreationale Rouge is easier than Ayers Point. I finally got my first top-25. I was cut my first 3 weeks here then started waking up some. I got the game in September but my addiction to it is helping me improve. So we win some we lose some (well I guess - in golf everybody loses except one person so that expression is out the window!). Happy Turkey Week, good luck Art and everyone.

Another event done, this time at the Recreationale Rouge. Fantastic course.
Played safe through the first few rounds since there is alot of water on this course. (Played a few practice rounds with alot of dropped balls)
Managed to play the best golf of my TGC "Career" this week, -7,-11,-8 and rounded off this week with a -9. -35 total. Risked it all on hole 17 last round and got punished by the water gods, somehow saved a par tho.
That being said, it is an easy course, but it can also punish you if you risk it.
GL Everyone!
