I've been playing it in another society. Putting isn't too bad but the narrow fairways will require good tempo off the tee to hit them. The other society is on pro difficulty so not quite as hard to hit good shots. Wind was low in the first round of that event but got two more to go so that could change and make things more challenging.

I traded in the big hitter for some forgiveness on the driver for next week. I think I was 10% fir with the longer club.

Has anyone created a "practice" society for future CC events?

Has anyone created a "practice" society for future CC events? Dad Bod Mafia has one set up, at least on PC.

How many people receive promotions and demotions each week? If you mean promo/demo marks, then it's top/bottom 15% as Blade told you. However, if you mean actual movements, then it depends, as you need to accrue three promo marks to move up or five demo marks to move down. Moreover, the tournament winners are automatically promoted, irrespective of their marks tally, as is everyone who shoots low enough relative to the average of the field ("fast-track promotion", which is based on an undisclosed standard deviation formula).

Good choice. Enjoyed it.
Except round 3 but my fault not the course.
Best and worst.
4th all birds. 10th bogey and only double.

Hi all. Was just poring through results for the past week and in addition to the winners being auto-promoted, I found these additional results for fast track promotions (The tour listed is their old tour)
CC-A: 0 CC-B: 0 CC-C: 1 CC-D: 1 CC-E: 2 CC-F: 1 CC-G: 5 CC-H: 0 CC-I: 0 CC-J: 3 CC-K: 1 CC-L: 1

Hi all. Was just poring through results for the past week and in addition to the winners being auto-promoted, I found these additional results for fast track promotions (The tour listed is their old tour) CC-A: 0 CC-B: 0 CC-C: 1 CC-D: 1 CC-E: 2 CC-F: 1 CC-G: 5 CC-H: 0 CC-I: 0 CC-J: 3 CC-K: 1 CC-L: 1 Warning: Math Alert! Since CC-G had the most fast tracks, I ran some stats on it just out of curiosity. The average/mean (of those who made the cut and finished) was -5.67. The SD of the sample was 9.026. That would make -14.7 within 1 SD of the mean. -21.5 was within 1.75 SDs of the mean. -23.7 was within 2 SDs. - 32.7 was within 3 SDs. -21 (or better) was fast tracked. Using this data alone, it looks like those who are approximately better than 1.75 SDs are fast tracked. But when I checked CC-J, it didn't hold up perfectly. One person (-13) who was not fast tracked was very close to 1.75 SDs (-13.4), as were the -21 folks above (they didn't quite cross the 1.75 SD line either, but yet were fast tracked). It would seem to me they are doing something more than just simple standard deviations (or they are using a different cut line for SD). Scott
