Welcome to CC! Let me introduce myself, I'm DanDan, your friendly scheduler. As you can imagine, it's tough scheduling a course that makes the guys in A and L happy.. so some weeks will be easier, and others will be harder. Just remember, everybody in your flight is in the same boat. My goal is to try and make a fair tournament using the course that I have selected. As has become tradition, the winner of the previous seasons CC contest kicks us off on the CC tour. This season, that is Windstone by grovey31. Winds start out gusty but tame themselves as you go... expect things to stay firm and fast. You can play the rollout here, so if you're trying to fly everything to the pin... you're doing it wrong! Leave your comments, stories, round summaries anything you want here! Good luck!

This is a course where distance is key, especially in those high winds. Played my first round and finished 5-under but was irritated by an awful bogey on the Par-5 18th. There are driveable Par 4 (If the wind is with you) and the Par 5 holes can be scoreable.
Fairways are very wide. Which I like because it can help those having issues with their swings to just plan accordingly to get FIR

CC-F to start this season, still trying to get find some consistency, but mainly figure out my putting.
Played a couple of practice rounds and were the best two rounds I've played on the game so far, so hopefully carries over into this week's official rounds.

Wow not a bad start, CC-E here.
I may have the most birdies through two rounds that’s for sure but only amounts to 6-under total. A couple bogeys on par-5’s when I’m near the green in two is brutal. Really struggled with the pace on 20-40ft putts in round two, the speed of the greens got to my head after a downhill putt. Oh well, onward! Better than expected.

Doing QSchool and could not reach the green on one hole in round 2 with a 3 wood. Agains a 17mph head wind. I’m curious how others are doing as I have no clue what Q school will give me.
Ive e been in CCC for the last 2 years and just hoping I can pass Q school. LOL.
its all about putting isn’t it. After coming up short a numbers of times I’m good at blasting past the hole. LOL. I think I can be near par for the event. We shall see

I finished last season in CC-E and started season 7 right where I left off. On my way round I hit 4 birdies, 5 bogies and a double for a first round score of +3. I liked the wide open fairways on the course even though I hit just over half of them. My approach shots left me with a good few long putts which I haven't got to grips with, still struggling with the medium putts holing 40% of them.
Good luck to everyone in the Challenge Circuit.

Think I was -3 or -4 early in rd 1, but had a couple bad bogies on the back side that put me in a foul mood. I probably should have quit after rd 1, but I continued on. Lost interest in the course and the game early in round 2. I speed golfed to the end. With any luck, I will miss the cut.

-21 after 3 rounds. -6/-10/-5.
Tempo completely deserted me in R3 resulting in an absolute rollercoaster of a scorecard. I think it was something like 9 birdies, an eagle, 4 bogeys and one DB (absolutely dreadful 4 putt!).
Funny how here on good ol' XB tempo seems to be a complete lottery at times. Had barely any feel for it in R3 and was just swinging and hoping at times. Makes me wonder is there an optimal time of the day/week to play a round.
I think I'll hold off on R4 for a bit.
(Oh, I'm CC-D after a nightmare at Evangelist. Tempo seemed bonkers there and I went on tilt big time which saw me plummet down the leaderboard).

most frustrating rounds i have had so far in the game. hit the ball really well,in R1 and most of round 2, just played stupid so bad scores even when hitting it good. some unlucky bounces and putts also contributed but mostly just bad decisions.
R3 and 4 were unplayable, must have had 75% red slows, no matter what i did. restarted the game and had a couple of perfects then back to 5-6 red slows in a row again. halfway in R3 i completely lost interest and just wanted to play all rounds so i wont have to start this game up again until next week (wont make the cut anyways i assume)
might be time for a new mouse and pad to see if its actually hardware issues or "user error" assuming the latter but one can hope.
on a more positive note i did like the course, greens were a nightmare when you leave yourself 60ft putts but that's the way it should be.

HA - I will never ever play 2 rounds in a row again! Seems like round 2 I did not take seriously. Twice I went to do a splash shot for a the perfect 17 yards which is almost a gimmie putt and WHAM- I did a flop instead SURPRISE!! Cost me 4 strokes in round 2. Just not paying attention. I'm still miffed and angry 4 hours later grrrrrr

Well, after my first round at Windstone (-1) I was ready to come in here and give the scheduler a piece of my mind (I was gonna say hey guys can you ease us in after a hard two weeks). But then I played round 2 and I started getting a hang of the course and figuring out the greens. I proceeded to go -5 -7 -9 to finish -22. I was making everything on the greens. Hopefully that ends up being a decent score. Good luck everyone!

Nothing like shooting 7 Birdies and ending up even. I just can’t help from having that one blow up hole. Round 1 was par 3 hole 15. I 5 putted within 7 feet 🤦♂️
