Well let's get the party started......
And what an opening set up it is in R1...........I have no clue what a good score is in that 'light breeze'........
Felt like I controlled it quite well and then chucked a shot away at 18 with a 3 putt from nowhere.
-5 -6
for -11 at the cut.
Is that good / ok / terrible? I have no idea.
Play - and whine - well folks!!!

It's going to be a long season........(sigh)
Both Round 3
-11 -10 (with 2 bogeys - and 2 eagles) to finish
-32 total if I make the cut

Hi all, New here at these scary heights... Scored -44 in Q School, so here I am... Played my first two rounds today: -3 & -8 for -11 halfway I have absolutely no idea whether that's anywhere near what's required to make the cut. Nice touch by the scheduler to start with very high winds in round 1... Good luck all, Frans

Hi guys! In the past two iterations of this game, I made it both times from CC-B to Euro. Thus, this is my first time in the top tour, and I don‘t care about the large dispersion of scores, I‘m just super excited to be a part of it! rob4590, I‘m particularly excited to have caught up with you again, as you had been my first „rival“ (I watched your scores on the PC leaderboard) back then in August 2017. As usual, I organize a little side competition (the famous Cow Hunt) just for some added fun. I‘ll post about that later on. Cheers and good luck! Kevin

-32 is a good score. I could only make 3 birdies in round1. Did okay the rest of the way. Something is just off with the green complexes of official courses. The ball just rolls oddly to me. And was that default lighting? The high noon was at times nauseating trying to read greens into the sun. But yea so many illegal pins. I think it was r4 where I stuffed a wedge to like 4 feet on 10 and played it 3 cups out and missed low. Sucks not getting rewarded for a great shot when the pin is on such a hillside it makes a Los Angeles developer jealous.

Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen,
In the former Korn Ferry Tour, I found out that I wasn't happy with the fact that a tournament in the Pro Tours is basically over for anybody missing the cut. Hence, I came up with a humble little side event, namely
The Hunt for The Golden Cow
which usually runs during the time between two promo events, and which I carried over with me last season to Euro and now to this flight. It is nothing special at all and the rules are very basic. Participants simply play their usual Platinum rounds and post the respective scores (no screenshots needed) in the weekly thread. Points are rewarded based on the total score after 4 rounds. Missed cuts are not taken into account in the sense that the score after four rounds is considered for everybody.
The weekly winner receives [number of participants] points, then one point less for each subsequent finisher. Note that those who do not finish their four rounds get 0 points.
If you happen to be interested, please confirm your participation in this thread (tag me maybe). Registration is open until the next week's event is done. All current Platinum players and past Cow Hunters not deterred by the four extra rounds are welcome!
Cheers,
Kevin

However, if a female cow gives milk then I am not sure I want to know what you get from a "golden" cow...

Greetings! Yes it is I, the Chancellor of the Cellar, making my triumphant return to the Hunt. Cecil Harvey here is the Golden Cow we all pursue: Maybe she is a Platinum Blonde? Now where is my barca! Need to make sure it was properly sanitized before the season start. I'm looking at YOU Tyler LEFTY79 , better not be any of those cheese curds in the barca. Kevin up mup kupen nup , I present a lusty +2 in round 1. Onward! EDIT: Round 2 +2 thanks largely in part to a swim on the last.

There's only one fly-in-the-ointment with running the Cow Hunt in Platinum - what are you (we) going to do on the (regular) weeks when this thread gets locked?

My bet is that that cow thingamajig thing gets moved to a separate thread by next week because we Platinum primadonnas prefer our own brand of nonsense.
